My daughter and I have been doing our own nails for about 2 years now to save money(going to a salon was way too expensive!). I tried these out on a Sunday morning when the house was quiet and didn't have high expectations figuring it was just like regular nail polish. But OMG wow! These worked great and I was able to paint a purple and lavender ombré on my nails and they came out so great! I had way more control using a paint brush with this polish then the gel polish in the bottle. It didn't get lumpy or runny either and dried nicely as well after top coat and the UV lamp. I wish I would've taken a picture! Two weeks ago I did a French Mai I cure with a few accent nails. I had so much more control and I was able to make it more even then ever before! I did take a picture and will post it here-they are almost 2 weeks grown out so keep that in mind! I can't wait to see what else I can come up with this weekend to paint!! So easy to use!! Barely any dripping either! Highly recommend!

Most of the colors are bright and pigmented. There was only 5 or 6 i dint think I would use. A few colors I put into my palette, (3 or 4) emptied the jars. I still have some left in Most of them.* I already had a silver and gold (shiny and glittered), so I didn't use the ones from the set. So the 2 silvers and 2 golds (very bottom of the picture) are NOT from this set.* I bought the palette separately. That way I made my own set for way cheaper than they sell the other ones for 😉

I am very excited to try them out on my nails, and I think these will do just fine for any beginner, probably not for someone who is use to higher quality though. Or anyone attempting to do clients, you’ll run out of color FAST.They should probably come in a “this side up” package. Unlike others mine didn’t spill, but the lids were NOT on securely at all. If ANY seal had busted it would have been everywhere.The seals are on tight and don’t have a tab to pull. I would not recommend using your fingers, it’s hard and messy. use tweezers, it’s easy, mess free, and fast.I just used the excess off the seals to do my color tests. these are more like samples in my opinion, there really isn’t a lot of product in the pot, granted you do get a lot of colors.Definitely do a color test cause it doesn’t say on the pots the ones that are sheer or opaque and that does effect the color.The nude/neutral colors are the most different from what is shown on the pots. It’s not like they are completely different colors, but it is noticeable for some.USE THIN LAYERS! even on some of the more sheer gels it didn’t cure all the way. I am NOT saying they don’t cure at all, just that you need to build it up.The brush it comes with is fine, I don’t think it’s anything special, but it’s not crap either.I don’t have a lot of experience with gels so keep that in mind when I say, they are very sticky. I know gel is supposed to be sticky, I guess I just wasn’t expecting them to be as sticky as they are. I was also kind of hoping they would be thicker but they aren’t much thicker than bottled gel.Hope that helps

It came with missing colors? Didn’t get the full 36 colors. I got 33 with double green and no black and white. Highly disappointed because this product can’t be returned.

The media could not be loaded. I’m not a professional I’m just a girl who likes to do her nails at home. I swatched two of the colors and here’s my honest opinion.My containers came cleaned and sealed, no leakage but I did notice that the lids slightly smaller than the base so I can see how some people has leaking. Thank god I didn’t if you try these I would keep them on a flat level surface.It does have a thicker consistency so less is more.It also leaves a sticky residue so I’d recommend wiping your nails with alcohol before you apply your top coat. It wasn’t a big deal for me to wipe it.The colors are pigmented and apply evenly.Also the brush that comes with it is top tier I wish they gave you more brushes.I cured it 3 times. Once in between each coat and once after I wiped the residue & the results were nice and glossy.Overall I think these gel polishes are good for a beginner like me. I wouldn’t bank on these to start a nail business or anything maybe to practice with but I definitely think they’re great to have especially for the price. Literally a steal.

First set of gel I ordered when switching to doing my own nails. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! All bottles were fully sealed and labeled. I did do a color sample on top and most were very close. The colors are more translucent and to get the full vibrant color, you need a few coats for full coverage (3-4). I prefer this since I don’t like bold colors. I did my daughters and the colors were bright and vibrant when doing designs and didn’t require several coats, just one. So maybe I just applied the layers of polish with brush very thin on my nails which was cause for several coats. It’s syill nice to be able to build the color. You only need a tiny bit per mani/pedi. These will probably last over a year even doing manis for 2 people every 2 weeks. I will say it was difficult to get polish off. I used 100% acetone like with other girls and comparable it took almost 2 hours!!! I’ve been told to switch from acetone to “soak off” so I will try that next time. If you put on a lot the polish does slide and blob while doing the rest. You either do one by one or thin layers. I’m just starting so I think these were all learning curves for me. Order arrived way ahead of time, only took about a week.
