The pressure was really on The Sarah Connor Chronicles right from the start. The first spin-off from the extraordinary Terminator franchise, it picks up after the events of the second film, and finds Lena Headey in the title role, who--along with her 15-year old son, John--sets about trying to save the world from the impending threat of Skynet. Along the way too, they encounter Summer Glau (whom there’s a strong chance you’ll know from Firefly), who steps into the shoes of Cameron, a bodyguard Terminator who helps fight off the many threats they face. She’s some piece of work. Very deliberately paced, and intricately woven to make sure it safely fits within the Terminator universe, The Sarah Connor Chronicles works a great deal better than you’d have any right to expect. Tightly scripted, and with a terrific performance by Headey in the central role, the show packs plenty of action and narrative into the nine episodes of its maiden season, and it certainly whets the appetite for more. Perhaps the biggest compliment to be paid, though, is that The Sarah Connor Chronicles is a worthy companion and follow-up to the first two Terminator films, and one that genuinely expands and deepens the franchise. It’ll be fascinating to see where the show goes next. --Jon Foster

Universo Terminator Extendido!
Para todos los fans de la saga Terminator que abrimos los ojos muy grandes cuando oímos que se haría una serie sobre Terminator y preparados a que nos desgarren el corazón de la decepción, aqui tenemos una prueba viviente (audiovisual) de una temporada de 9 episodios (Gracias a la famosa huelga de guionistas) que nos dejó a todos boquiabiertos, con una extensión del universo Terminator espectacular y profunda. El trabajo de la adorable Summer Glau cómo cyborg protector de John Connor es remarcable y nos da una visión distinta de lo que ya estabamos acostumbrados, llamada Cameron (En honor a su creador, James Cameron). Lena Headley quien interpreta a la sufrida Sarah Connor (Aunque yo soy fiel a la que interpretó Linda Hamilton, lejos, la mejor Sarah Connor)y Thommas Dekker en la piel de un adolescente John Connor, el trio ha sabido manejar a la perfección, una mitología arraigada a la cultura popular con dignidad y espectacularidad. Dos maravillosas temporadas para que los cerdos capitalistas de la FOX, nos cancelen la serie dejándo un final de segunda temporada que nos dejó a todos los fans saltando por los aires de la emoción. Y aunque hayan pasado unos añitos, aun tenemos la esperanza de una 3er temporada pero eso si, con los mismos actores, incluidos Richard T. Jones (Agente Ellison) y Shirley Manson. La serie contiene interesantes extras, y en cuanto a imagen y sonidos tienen un 10 redondo!

No tiene menú ni audio en castellano
Creo que la gente ha confundido esta versión con la alemana. En la alemana sí que tiene audio en castellano pero esta versión del Reino Unido NO.Lo peor del pack es que una vez que no tiene menú y te entra directamente en el episodio, pero para compensarlo el precio es muy atractivo.

They should of made more seasons of this TV series it was better than some of the Terminator films!
This American TV series is about the adventures of Sarah Connor, and picks up some years after Terminator 2.They use a different actress in this to play Sarah Connor. I was very impressed with what they did with this Terminator TV series. It was like a chase episode style where they are chased by different Terminator villains in each episode, it has all the action of the Terminator films too. They should of made more seasons of this American TV series. A lot of the effects and special effects are similar to the Terminator films too.

Appalling content structure.
The authoring of all three discs in this Blu-ray set is appalling.There is no main menu on any of them and no way to select a particular episode to watch. The first episode on each disc plays automatically when the disc is inserted into the player. The only way to get to later episodes, other than to let them play through in sequence, is to advance through each chapter, one at a time, until the desired episode is reached.The worst example of how bad this is is found on disc three. Episode 7, the first on the disc, plays automatically when the disc in inserted into the player. When that episode finishes, playback does not progress to Episode 8 as you would expect, but instead plays an introduction to a special extended version of Episode 7 and then the unfinished extended version itself. The only way to get to Episode 8 without watching through this extended repeat of Episode 7 is to advance through all the chapters of it, again, one at a time. Extremely annoying and disruptive to the flow of the story.If there is a way to directly access episodes, it is well hidden.Otherwise, technically the discs are much better. The picture quality is generally very good, with high levels of detail, pleasing colour and deep blacks. A lossless soundtrack is not included, but the Dolby 5.1 audio provided does a good job nonetheless.

Best Underated Series Ever
