Looked all over trying to find one of these and this was the best price.Changing this yourself saves you several hundred dollars in service calls and is very easy to change.Now for the information that some of us want. yes, it has a bigger amperage draw than the old one but it works just fine and it will shorten your wash because it can get the water out faster.Until is finishes its "break-in" period, only a few washes, it is definitely louder than your used to. There are videos out there on that tube site that show how-to replace this and they make it seem like it takes a long time to change. It only took me about 10 minutes to change it.

However getting the replacement pump in one piece is another story. First one came damaged in shipping as the pictures show. The bits on the bottom of the box is from the pump. Notice the big hole in the box. I sent the same photos to the seller and asked to make sure to use packing materials in the box this time. You know... like bubble wrap or paper, something....anything?! The part was loose in the box with nothing but a packing slip.They quickly sent out a free replacement. Unfortunately they did not listen, no packing materials of any kind, again just the part loose in the box! The second box also had a similar hole just not as big. Fortunately this part somehow wasn't damaged. I installed it and it works perfectly.Seriously people, for the love of everything and common sense, please please please invest in some bubble wrap, those bags with air in them or something? It's gotta be cheaper than continuing to send free replacements and hoping they get to their destination safely. At least put the box in a bigger box if you're lazy or cheap but don't ship these expensive parts just rattling around in the manufacturers box. I doubt they shipped it to you like that. Also remember that the shipping companies don't always handle some packages with the care they should. Kudos to the seller for quickly sending the replacement, my laundry was piling up.Anyway, it is a quality part, direct replacement for my washing machine. Two screws, two hoses and two wires to remove to replace the pump. Zip zap, easy peasy that anyone with even limited handyman skills can replace in 15-20 minutes and save a bundle from calling in a pro. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver, a pair of pliers, a bowl to catch water in and a flashlight. Watch you tube if you need to, there is a bunch of videos.Tip: Check the washers shocks while you're in there, if your washer is 5 or more years old they are likely shot too. They are also super simple to replace with a couple basic tools. Fairly inexpensive and it will keep you washer from wandering around the room or vibrating you pictures off the walls on high speed spin cycle.

Perfect match to our old one. Easy to install and seemed to work in test mode. Just haven't had time to officially hook my washer back up and do a load of clothes yet. But worked when i dumped a gallon of water in drum drained it all out no problem

While not exactly the same as the manufacturers original part (it is aftermarket part), it fit perfectly and installed easily. It is working perfectly so far. I can't speak to it longevity, but its good right now. Thanks for a great price.

Our GE washer pump broke something internally. The motor would still spin but it's like the shaft wasn't connected. Anyway, replaced it with this unit and boom! Fixed and back to doing laundry. Its been a couple of weeks and the pump is still working awesome. Very easy to replace, just a few screws, hose clamps, and you are in business. I don't notice if it's any louder or faster than the previous pump. Its definitely faster than a broken pump!

The pump was exactly what I needed to get my washing machine back up and running. Installed easily and was a fraction of the price of other pumps sold.I would buy again, and would happily recommend to others. Why pay more to have it serviced, when you can have the parts in 2 days and do it yourself without breaking a sweat.

Update.. almost a year later, and under heavy loading..it still runs great.. no issues. Go ahead and buy it..so worth the moneyLove it.. fits perfectly.. a bit louder but for the price is awesome!!
