The Monet Cookbook: Recipes from Giverny

Gifted this to my sister-in-law who loves both Monet and French cooking. She was thrilled with it, especially that the recipes seemed approachable. The book arrived in excellent condition, still wrapped in its original plastic. Very happy with my purchase.

I was at the gardens and really wanted this book but did not want to look at around or have to fit it in my suitcase. So from my hotel room I ordered it on Amazon. It was waiting for me when I got home and much cheaper than the gift shop, LOL. Having been there, I can say that the book accurately depicts the gardens and the home. Beautiful cookbook with great recipes that I will actually make.

Inspiring book with delicious recipes (haven't tried any yet, but they look very approachable.)Only problem is I can't decide whether to paint, read or cook!

My dream recipe book

A well presented book ,the passages about Monet enhanced the recipes .A very enjoyable book to red as well as having the recipes

French recipes as people cook at home and which are from the beginning of the 1900's. They have been likely updated using nowadays ingredients but the spirit feels from that time. Especially the one from the déjeuner sur l'herbe, it is like you are living the paintings. Highly recommended to cook great things for friends and family.

Love this book from the first sight. Lots of interesting recipes as well as pictures of Monet family and his drawings and details of his life. If you are fan of Monet you will enjoy this book with brilliant illustrations.
