Bought this to take camping with my 3 large German Shepherd dogs. I put it around our campsite so I don't have to tie the dogs out to stakes and it works PERFECTLY!In the beginnings they didn't know what it was so they tied to walk through it a few times and it is very strong so nothing broke. Now they understand that it is their perimeter and they love having it there.Very easy to set up and take down. Great product.

Works well... Easy to move and set up. Unfortunately it does not work for goats (I thought I could make it work), but it would definitely work for sheep as advertised. One con is the stakes- I wish they were a bit more sturdy because there is nowhere to push down with your foot so you have to wait until the soil is wet to move otherwise the stakes will not go into the ground.

Easy to set up. ...didn't get the results I was hoping for though. Not enough shocking power to keep the chickens or the goats in.

i have a small urban farm where i raise icelandic sheep, dwarf nigerian goats, chickens, new zealand rabbits, ect....but i'm also heavily involved with a great dane rescue group. part of my involvement includes a monthly playdate where the dogs we've adopted into the community come together @ my house to run and play while their new owners talk and hangout.some of these dogs have a high prey drive, which had become dangerous for some of my livestock.after a very easy install of this product, that was no longer a concern.great danes, pitpulls, boxers.... you name it, they dont mess with this fence.there were of course some changes that needed to be made to the set up, as there is with any custom install job.1) i needed more support to keep my ram in, and the dogs out. so at tractor supply i bought some plastic fence posts for about $2 each, doubling the amount of posts2) great danes are tall, i needed a little more height, so i purchased some fence wire and ran a strand of 17ga about 6 inches higher that the netting, and supported it with the taller fence posts that i had already bought from tractor supply.3) the Mfg suggests a minimum of .4 joules to power the fencing as it is. with the extra length of wire i added, i went ahead and upped that power rating to a 1.0 joule charger (hence why great danes dont go through it )http://www.amazon.com/Powerfields-100V-Acre-Energizer-Joules/dp/B00L9X7OQK/ref=sr_1_cc_1?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1415284981&sr=1-1-catcorr&keywords=ad-100c+powerfieldswe use a lawnmower battery to power it, but still have the option of plugging it in to an outlet. battery lasts about a week, before i switch it out with a small scooter battery while it charges.great product, and great performance from powerfields.

Ordered two of this item, one was black/white, one was dark green. Same stuff that is in the local feed store for $239. I don't mind that there's green, although the sheep tend to want to jump over it, but for my purposes it's not too bad. Not going to bother to return and will probably actually order another roll (hope it's black/white though!).
