Worked Great! I can breath again....
So far, so good. I received the bottle early last week and sprayed it all over the carpet in the back of my Yukon XL. Our wet dog was laying in the back of the truck during a 4 hour drive to the mountains, which in return caused the carpet to smell like wet dog. I didn’t want too spend the money to have the carpets washed, so I decided to try this method after a friend suggested it. I sprayed the entire back of the truck and the smell went away. As of today, 9 days later there is no smell of the musty dog smell! Also tried it on my sons baseball cleats…..no more stinky feet!

Works great
Bought this due to our dog already getting sprayed by skunks twice. 2 days after getting it, she got sprayed again. A couple squirts, some water and scrubbing, she smelled great. Very happy.

worked great at first - really masked the smell
worked great at first - really masked the smell. HOWEVER it did not react well to my dogs skin. caused her skin to really dry out and get really irritated and flaky. still having to wash her in oatmeal shampoo to soothe it. be careful how much you use ON your dog.

Bad luck on this purchase
My dog got sprayed square in the face which is obviously a difficult place to wash well. I did the AKC-recommended Dawn soap, Hydro Perox, and baking soda thing, but I didn't want to get it in her eyes or nose, so she still smelled. I bought this spray to rub on her head. I didn't want to spray her full-on in the face so I put it in my hands first and rubbed it in well and fully all around her face and neck one night. The next morning she had horrible runny (like water) diarrhea and vomited several times. I didn't associate it with the spray at first. A few days went by, I didn''t use the spray, and her tummy normalized. The spray had only gotten rid of about 20% of the smell so I tried it again. This time she started vomiting within 30 mins of application. Who knows if it was the actual spray, but I hadn't changed her food. She hadn't eaten anything off the street. She hadn't been chewing on any plants or any new toys or treats. I really think she had a reaction it to it. However, let's leave the vomiting reaction out of it and just focus on the efficacy of the smell removing...for us it KINDA worked, but not even 50% of smell went away. I'm going to throw the rest out, sadly.

all hail the stink slayer!!
We have been staying in an airBnB in the country while looking for a house. It's lovely out here, but the owners have several bird feeders high above our walk out basement apt. and at night possums and skunks come up to eat the seed droppings - RIGHT OUTSIDE THE SLIDING GLASS DOORS. one of the first nights we were here, my husband let the dog out for the last time before bed (around 10 pm.) and unbeknownst to him their was a skunk out there, the dog chased her down the hill and well, the rest they say is history. my husband didn't see the actual attack but the minute the dog got in the house it became apparent. we found the on line solution (hydrogen peroxide, dawn, baking soda) that we used the day after but having a contaminated dog in the apt for the full evening just stunk the whole place up -- even things she didn't touch (like the cloth lining of my leather purse). Skunk oil when airborne is deadly stink! Enter the Stink Slayer! I ordered it and had it shipped 2 day to our P.O. Box -- have almost used the whole bottle so ordered another one. It is making a HUGE DIFFERENCE not only in how the dog is smelling but in how the apt. is smelling. If you spray it on wood floors, just be careful because they will be a bit slick until the liquid dries.

Didn’t even phase it at all
My dog got sprayed by a skunk. And not only did the dog get sprayed, but my wooden front porch. Are used it on the wooden front porch, after I scrubbed it down with soap and water and hosed it let it dry. Nothing would phase it. Haven’t been able to sit out side for a week now. I don’t know if anything would work. I appreciate efforts to do so, but I feel like I wasted $20

Thank God for this all-natural chemical-free truly truly skunk spray
I can't even begin to tell you how lucky I was to have run into a friend recently that actually gave me a bottle of this stinks layer because I was telling them about my dog getting sprayed Last Summer I have a family of skunks that live under my shed. So just the other night 2:30 in the morning let the dog to do his business sure enough he went right directly to the shed and got sprayed bye a skunk I ran in the house grab my stink Slayer spray in just sprayed it all over him he actually just that they let me do it this product smells amazing it took the smell away almost instantly I didn't have to wash the dog which was the best part of this whole thing. This is the best thing I have ever used on my dog that got sprayed by a skunk never use anything else. If you own a dog you have to have those on hand. Also I just want to let everybody know that the smell of a skunk was all over the grass where the dog got sprayed he was rubbing all over the place and the smell good all over my shoes I actually used the spray on my shoes and the smell went away this stuff is amazing highly highly recommended
