This case isn't for everyone, but so far, I've liked it more than other iPad cases I've used, like Otterbox, clamshell keyboards, or folding plastic covers.Pros:The leather feels and looks great, and will only improve with age.The plastic tablet retainer fits so well, there's almost no additional clearance if you use a separate stick-on screen protector, but once you manage to insert it, it's not going anywhere. It's thin, affording access to the volume and on/off switch (thicker retainers can get in the way and impede access to these controls). It's also sewn on instead of glued, a classy touch as well as more durable.Cons:The leather cover doesn't function as an angled support as well as a folding plastic cover does.It won't protect your tablet from drops as well as an Otterbox or similar design.Because the retainer fits so well, it's not practical to remove the tablet, for example, to use it with a bluetooth clamshell keyboard like the Zagg. My old case was so loose, it was no trouble to pop the tablet in and out; that's not possible now. However, there's no need for that now as I'm using a separate bluetooth keyboard.There's no magnetic indicator, so the cover does not wake up the tablet when opened or put it to sleep when closed.Overall, I'm happy with it. I treated the outer surface with Brooks Proofide, a cream designed for leather bicycle saddles, which should help preserve it.

I was really optimistic about this iPad case. The reviews were good, the price was fair, and I was okay with the delayed shipping from China. It's been a few weeks since I received it in the mail and I haven't even been able to use it. The oil they used for the leather apparently doesn't dry...ever. I'm assuming they just used too much leather oil. I received it in the mail 15 days ago and it's still damp. I put a fan on it for 48 hours...still damp. I set it on a shelf in my garage where it's warm but not hot...still damp. I tried putting the case on my iPad but it leaves a thick film on the screen because the oil is so damp. I didn't leave the case on for more than 60 seconds. The case does look nice. If the case ever dries out, I will add another star to my review.

I absolutely love this case! I have used it for over a year now. During the summers I use it for 12 hours straight, outside, everyday and it is still in great condition. It’s very slim and comfortable to use. It’s very simple and long lasting. I would recommend it to everyone! I just bought a new iPad and I want to get another one of these cases.

This is so awesome. The leather is top quality and I love having my name engraved on the front. I get compliments on it all the time! It fits my iPad perfectly, and I highly recommend.
