When I need palm oil to create my homemade natural soaps, I usually order from a well-known company .. however at times and due to the pandemic, all orders from that large company have taken a long time to be processed and shipped ..therefore I have come to Amazon to order this product more than once. Every time it has worked well and never let me down. The only problem is the price: it is double what I pay with the other company however they do not charge for shipping and the price ends up being the same as the one from the major company. To get the product out of this bottle, I warm the thick oil, usually placing it in a casserole with hot water and boiling for a few minutes so that I can easily extract and pour the oil from the bottle.

Food grade . I love this coconut oil and it’s just not smell like coconut. I actually whip it with my stand mixer and use this in the shower from head to toe.

It's become a staple for me when soap making and has gone a really long way! I will agree with other reviewers that the packaging is a little awkward. Something solid like this would do much better in an easily microwaved pouch of some kind, but it hasn't poven to be too much of a roadblock. I can still melt and pour it easily enough, and the quality is great!

Honestly, I don't want to use any other type of olive oil for soapmaking. This has excellent qualities, And it's cheaper to boot. Unless you need pure olive oil, so you can achieve a lighter color for your soap, this is the version of olive oil to go with.

Amazing value, great to use for hand-made soap. Very difficult to get out of the container, though. We bought a regular plastic cereal tub, and cut the container open, moving it to the cereal tub for easier use.
