I got this because, Coleman, and I trust the brand. I actually had their smaller one in my cart ready to check out, but then I realized I need space to fit both the ice packs AND the food or drinks or light grocery shopping stuff, so I went with this size. It's the perfect size. I can carry it myself without struggling. It's got good insulation and it's a good quality cooler. The only thing I wish it had was the ability for the lid to stay open on its own, but for $30, I'm totally fine without that feature.

I saw reviews about the lid not staying open. I experienced the same thing until I put the handle of the cooler in the front and when open the handle can be pulled up to the lid and it stays open. It’s the perfect size for my needs. Good value for the money and keeps things cold. It’s small enough to carry but large enough to hold quite a bit. I use on my front porch for delivery drivers since I live in the desert and it’s extremely hot right now. Getting in and out of a vehicle must hard in the heat, even if they are in an AC equipped vehicle. Whoops, off topic. It’s a really nice cooler, with a trusted name and works as it is designed to. I’m glad I purchased it.

This is a nice cooler. It is bigger than a lunch box sized cooler and yet portable enough to manage by myself when full. Currently I’m using it to transport bulk perishable food club purchases back home. It takes preparation and time to “cool it down” for each trip, but it does a great job holding the cold temperature. I’ve seen some reviewers complain about the snap-lid design. It’s true, the lid will NOT stay open on its own when loading and unloading the cooler. However, there is an easy work-around: use the cooler’s big handle to prop the lid open. For those who would appreciate more detail: Start with the cooler lid shut and its large handle resting against the front side of the cooler. Next, lift the cooler lid and then hold it open with one hand. Then lift the handle with your other hand and center it over the open cooler. Now gently lower the lid onto the handle. The lid will push the handle slightly forward but will stop at some point. I found that this still allows plenty of space below the propped open lid to maneuver things in and out of the cooler. Caution: don’t bump the handle or the lid WILL snap shut on you!

I purchased this small cooler to sell my eggs roadside. It is a great size and seems sturdy….the issue is the lid. It does not stay open, making it more difficult to use.

Our mini fridge died, and I grabbed this, hoping it would hold us out while we save up for a new drink fridge. Nope, never mind, we are sticking to this beauty. With the big ice blocks we picked up to go with it, it works so much better than the fridge, is portable, and is a keeper at the drink station. The top is nice for drinks, it keeps things really cold, and in the long run, I find it worth the money we spent on it.

A very convenient size, lightweight, and holds ice for a very long time. Not being a premium cooler, there is one notable drawback, though: plastic flex hinges instead of proper hinges. This means that they will eventually wear out and break. But for an affordable cooler that will still last you years (and probably more than you'll realistically use it), you can't go wrong. I haven't had a problem in the couple of outings I've used this cooler, though from other experience I can tell you Coleman's customer service is second to none. I can also tell you that I have a well-used small plastic Coleman cooler from the 1970s that's still perfectly serviceable. Other than maybe the hinges, this will probably last you forever if you don't drop it hard enough to break it.

Very happy with it. Perfect size to sousvide a turkey.

I bring this with me on all of my long car trips. It stays cold all day when I pack it with a bunch of ice packs. It gets quite heavy when its full. The only drawback is the lid doesn't stay propped open unless you position the handle to hold it open. I don't find this too annoying. The color is nice. It's all plastic and easy to clean. I think it will hold up for a very long time.
