Hello Star

I bought this to read with my 5 YO daughter and I love it so, so much. The pictures are gorgeous! Lots of positive messages about finding your passion and perseverance. The author manages to acknowledge the injustices of sexism/misogyny without at all detracting from the focus on the main character’s quest to visit her star friend. This is a beautiful book for all young children. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Très compliqué à trouver en français, je l’ai alors acheté en anglais…L’histoire est vraiment touchante et les illustrations magnifiques je recommande fortement. Couverture souple et libre assez grand

My little grandson loved the book

My children loved this book (ages 7 and 8). This creative story really sparked their imagination. We talked about how the things they love now can lead them to their future career. The illustrations are gorgeous as expected from Vashti Harrison.

This book is stunning—both the words and the artwork. I got goosebumps reading it. A must for the bookshelves of all ages!
