They’re alright!
They do the job. They’re definitely not the best on the market, but I was looking for alternative options.

Smelled and tasted horrible.
Opened box and the smell just didn’t smell right, but not being sure what to expect I put one in my mouth and it tasted old and the texture was as if they were old. Threw $20+ away!

Only 20 pastilles in the tin!
I love these pastilles. They help calm a scratchy throat and can be addictive. However, it took a long time to find these again. I was so excited because I had bought the 20 pack and enjoyed them. But. I wasn't pleasantly surprised when I received my package because instead of the 20 packets (4 pastilles/packet), there was only 20 pastilles in one tin. Too sad for words. My memory of the pastilles that I first bought at Trader Joe's was a full tin that took a while to finish. The only other brand that comes close is Grethers but they're more expensive.

They are just okay
I GOT THE 3 PACK AND THE FIRST CONTAINER I OPENED THE PASTILLES ARE HARD AND EXTREMELY CHEWY. LIKE THEY ARE STALE AND OUT OF DATE. I ADDED A PHOTO OF WHAT I THINK IS THAT DATING IF THE PRODUCT BUT I HAVE NO CLUE. I WOULD LIKE TO TRY THE GRETHERS PASTILLES AND COMPARE THE DIFFERENCE. THEY DO HAVE A GOOD FLAVOR I WILL SAY THAT. I JUST HOPE THE OTHER TWO CONTAINERS ARENT THE SAME BECAUSE THESE WERENT CHEAP EITHER AND THERE IS NO RETURNS.

Great Pastilles
My wife uses these to soothe her throat if it's dry. She likes the flavor & texture & says they do as advertised. Works also to soothe a sore throat rather than drops that taste like medicine. Please continue to stock the Classic original. Not everyone wants sugar free.

They taste awful
I am normally a fan of black currant and I'm worried I got a bad batch.First, tin has a stick on plastic label on the side to indicate it's new. Mine came fully ripped in half. Since it was sliced right down the middle, I hoped the sticker was old and that it just snapped on its own.I tried the candy and it tasted like anise-flavored candy that fell in the dirt. Or maybe that someone had put in a hot armpit which transferred body odor. It was just really awful. After having it in my mouth for a while, the flavor improved, but that can't be normal, can it? Each piece starts tasting like a black licorice foot for the first minute?I tried these to sooth my throat and they didn't do that either.
