Evemodel 1/87 containers- a good buy.
A very good product. Everyone should be aware that containers come in two sizes: international and domestic. International ("Standard") containers are 8 feet six inches high, and domestic ("High Cube") containers are 9 feet, six inches. So even if you put these models side by side, they are the proper scale. A proper job was done by Evemodel in getting the details right!

20' shipping containers
This is my first time trying out this manufacture. First impression is good so far. This is the pack of 8 containers. They do come unpainted and unlettered. Add some paint and decals and they should look just fine. Containers do stack and have nice details on them. For the price, seems like a good deal so far. I recommend this item so far.

1/87 scale
I ordered some 30 and 40 ft containers. These are gray plastic unpainted containers. I have some green, blue, maroon, red spray paint that I’ll be putting color on. Putting any kind of name on these might be a challenge. I was thinking I can go get some letter stickers and put names on that way. Doors don’t open but the tops come off and they have small pins on the top and holes on the bottom for stacking

Good for container home mock up.
Not what they are originally intended for.but works for visual confirmation.

Usable for my need
I'm using these for models for a container home. They're great for seeing different configurations. I snapped the bottom out of one and it came out easily. Now I can see inside and visualize the floorplans. I haven't tried cutting out windows and doors yet but will soon. Now to find appliances and furniture.

Nice detail.
With a little paint and weathering, these look great. They stack well and look good in well cars.

20' and 40' not the same
I bought both the 20' and 40' model shipping containers to use to layout a mini model of a shipping container venue I am developing and they are not the same height even if they claim they are both 1:87 scale.
