African History
if you want to know African History than read this book for it is the only book on the true African History that is written by an African Historian. You will be glued to this book and it will be hard to stop reading it.I recommend this book to all races. Credu did a good service to the African people though he was forbidden towrite Africa's History, for the Africans don't want anyone to know it, and because of that they are paying horrible price of death and diseases caused by the White Man that wants to eradicate the black race from Africa through death. The Africans didn't want to fit into the world and be left alone and didn't want knowledge and science which caused them to be eradicated.

An anthology of ancient spiritual wisdom & practices
I first obtained this book in the 196's & delighted in it with every reading. Over the years, the pages became dogeared, yellowed, & some fell out. I carefully taped them back into place & gingerly handled the book only on special occasions. I'm so excited to renew my aquaintance with this volume. It is sankofa!

Must read!
Growing up on the other side of the world, my “understanding” of Africa has only ever come from a foreigners perspective. To hear these stories from Vusamazulu Credo Mutwa himself is absolutely crucial. It has opened my mind, heart and spirit in so many ways that there are not enough words to explain the enormity of how much I’ve learned about African customs, history and religious beliefs from this book. It’s not about just simply understanding or empathising, but to feel it deep in your soul!I highly recommend this book to the world!

history of africa.
I read the original when I lived in Africa 1969, the original was soooooooooooo thick what a great read. Once you have lived in Africa for a long time, Africa stays in your veins and in your heart. thanks
