Great Drive
Great SAS Drive. Performs exactly as expected. This drive is the SAS interface, not the SATA II. I would suggest you run SEATOOLS which you can get on the seagate website. This program, which comes in DOS and WINDOWS versions, will scour the drive for any problems. I run the DOS version about once a year on all my drives. The DOS version both finds problems AND fixes them. The Windows version can only find problems but not fix them. Hopefully they'll improve the Windows version sometime soon. Note: it will take many, many hours to perform the full detailed scan.

Constellation SAS 2.0TB
I can't really rate this drive since I never used it. Though I did give it a 5 star rating since from personal experience, I have never had any problems with Seagate Drives but did have problems with WD Drives. I needed a SATA version instead of a SAS version. When building a new computer, make sure your motherboard supports the proper drive.I didn't purchase the wrong drives for my motherboard. It was Asus error. Their manual had a misprint and instead of it saying that the motherboard supported SATA drives it stated that it supported SAS drives. So when I tried to use my SAS drives, they wouldn't work. So I called Asus and they told me that they accidently misprinted in the manual and they apologised to me.So those of you out there, please quit bashing me and saying that I'm an idiot. It wasn't my fault. This was my first computer build and I just followed the manual the way it was writtern.Sorry for not being perfect like all you anal people out there!!!!!!!!!!!

Not for Dell Server
These drive work as advertised and provide good value for the money. However they are not for Dell servers as Dell requires certified drives and these would not work with the Dell RAID Array.

Exact Replacements Needed For An Older Server
These worked great. Purchased to replace failing disks in a older Linux server. RAID started rebuilding as soon as these were added to the array. Ordering a few more. Fast shipping. Well packaged and arrived as promised.

Possibly used disks, 5/6 failed on arrival, poor packaging
The integrity of the drives were in question from seeing the packaging. It doesn’t say anywhere these drives are used but I suspect they are as one of the six I ordered contained a foreign config. On top of that five out of the six hard drives failed in the first 8 hours.Edit: I have now gotten 11 drives from this provider 10 of which were DOA I won’t be purchasing anymore

Good product, fast service!
The SAS drives are more reliable. Happy to do business with these folks.

Excellent nearline SAS drive
I've been running 4 of these in a raid10 for several months. Nice performance (peak r/w about 140MB/sec). I'm expanding the pool from 2TB to 3TB (e.g. adding two more drives) due to increased demand for storage.

Four Stars
Good, drive, thought they where new, but smart showed 10k+ hours on them. Not a huge deal.
