My 3 yrs old loves it but there were only 5 keys in my box and 6 cars. And once lock is open it doesnt lock properly again.

Nice quality cars/locks and keys. They all work well, the keys are sturdy and fit nicely on the key chain, and each opens the corresponding car easily. There’s only one way to insert the key into each lock which was nice. I was hoping this would challenge my 2.5 year old but he can do it very quickly and easily. He can’t read but uses the dots to figure out which key to use. It might be better suited for a younger child. However, he still enjoys playing with them as the cars do roll. As a side note, the cars can’t interlock into each other. I still recommend this toy, as it does occupy my little one for 20+ mins of independent play, but might be better to purchase it earlier at 18 months or so.

This is definitely a good toy to work on mastering fine motor skills!!! My only hope was that the actual number should be written on either side of the vehicle. I ended up writing the numerical number on them in sharpie and outlining the number on the key as well because it’s difficult to see on the key itself. Good for 2-3 year olds and up. Keys turned easily to unlock so my toddler didn’t have to work too hard at unlocking. Nice colors, definitely draws the attention!

I'm a speech therapist, and I love using these car locks with my speech therapy kids. Kids from toddler age to 5th graders love interacting with the locks in different ways, and it helps me target several concepts. My one con I have with this product is the durability of the key ring. It's very flimsy and can come easily undone. Otherwise, it's a great product that has held up for almost 2 years with me and several hands touching it.
