Wired correctly with good solder joints
I was concerned by the reviews that said this cable was wired incorrectly. So I opened it up after receiving and I could physically verify that the wiring was correct. What's more, I could tell that the wires and the solder joints look really good. Additionally, I used a DMM to check for continuity and I verified that was correct. The pinout that I need is 1-1, 2-2, 3-3 and that is what I got. Of course, mini-XLR has a different numbering order from XLR, but the connector clearly has the pin numbers labeled correctly. If the wiring was not correct, I could have easily fixed it with a little bit of soldering since the connectors are easy to open. Just unscrew the back, black plastic housing and then push the center part of the connector, with the pins, out from the housing with a tool. The XLR end would be easiest to work with. Reverse to reinstall the connector.

Does not work.
I tried using this with the microphone from a Fifine wireless mic that uses a mini XLR plug. When using this to plug it into my audio interface, I didn't get sound. I tested the mic with the wireless transmitter again, and confirmed that it works. I tested the port on the audio interface with another XLR mic, and confirmed that it works. This cable does not work.Avoid this garbage.

Good XLR Adapter
This item was needed to convert an XLR to an XLR Mini Microphone connection and I didn't trust the small cable not to be damaged and point of failure in my communications system

Gambled with $10 and Lost.
The cable did not work so, I tested it with an ohm meter. Found two of the wires were switched on the mini xlr plug side. Gambled with $10 and lost. Don’t waste your money unless you like to soldier really small connections.

Don’t Trust This Item
I don’t know if the wiring was flipped like the other 2 reviewers noted, but my adapter definitely did not work when I wanted to use it to be able to plug my lav mic into my interface.

Doesn’t work
Should’ve read the reviews before buying it. Didn’t work on my Shure lapel mic. No signal at all.
