This balm has a wonderful Sandalwood scent but not overpowering. Easy to apply to my skin and very soothing.

Nice scent and a little goes a long way. Feels good and actually absorbs better than the cream/balm I was using previously.

I love this face cream after my shave. It's really soothing after an elec. OR manual razor shave. The only thing I didn't like was that they changed the size and shape of the bottle. The old style taller, skinnier, aluminium bottles were much more attractive, fit better in your hand and easier to store. Oh well, I have not found anything better to use on my face. It just smells good and leaves your face nice and smooth.

The scent is strong for the first 30 minutes maybe, but it is a great smell. It's not fruity, but just the right amount of earthy. It gives my skin a great feel after a shave. I'm using their shaving cream and a safety razor and have 0 complaints.

The aftershave effect is soothing and the texture is fine, but I took one star away due to the greasiness (which hung around for most of the day). The bigger issue I had, and the reason for the removal of a second star, is the smell! I have used various Sandelwood products, so I understand that the aroma can vary by manufacturer, but this was extremely strong (not in a good way), and the scent was more on the feminine side and borderline obnoxious, especially in close quarters like on a subway. I don't feel like I can use this on important occasions, such as work or date nights. I will probably just keep it as a backup for when I run out of my primary aftershave and can't make it to the store.This only applies to their aftershave, as I have some of their other products and LOVE them.

No irritation, natural ingredients, soothes skin. Smells great.

This ( Aftershave Balm) Is very sticky and difficult to remove from hands after application to face .It also does not smell like sandalwood at all. It is sweet but a different scent that is hard to describe.I would not recommend it.

I've been using this almost daily, post-shave, for the past 10 months, it's time to offer my 2 cents. First thing- it works really well at soothing and moisturizing, combatting razor burn, better than any product I've used over the past 4 decades. Second thing- I like the smell, strong enough to identify the scent, lingers for about 1/2 hour. Does it smell manly enough? This Manly Man Likes It!Update: 4/26/19 Still loving this stuff, finally ran out after more than a year, ordered my second bottle. Great qualityand value.
