Used this with a lower end Wiegand system. Backwards compatibility means I can upgrade my controller in the future to something more sophisticated if the need arises. Narrower size than the standard reader means a more elegant installation.The reader is mounted to the backplate using a security screw (Tamper-Pruf style). Don't forget to pick up a screwdriver for this.Side note: iClass key fobs are a bit of a hassle to order (only able to find quantities of 100, custom coded, direct from manufacturer).

I ordered a HID proximity reader and received a midwife’s tale. The book looks like a good read but what I needed was a proximity reader to finish a install. Now I have to deal with returning a book to have my funds returned to then reorder.
