not good
you think you are saving money over the long term buying a more expensive bulb that uses a tiny fraction of the power of the old incandescent bulb and lasts 10 times longer or more. Except that these bulbs start to fail a few months after installation, even if they are used infrequently and for short times. Then the bulb starts burning hot like the old ones, wasting power as heat and posing a fire hazard. then they over-heat and dont light up! until they cool down, but then they heat up again fast. GE, we deserve better. In fact we have already paid you for better; for generations even.

Light ok but the bulbs die in a few months
I've been replacing incandescent bulbs with LEDs and was happy to see the LED replacements for the traditional Reveal bulbs come on the market. We use the Reveal in bathrooms and vanity areas. Unfortunately I've had very poor service from these particular bulbs. Out of 8 bulbs purchased (some from HD and some through Amazon) I've had 3 burn out already - in less than a year. It's one thing to pay $6-8 per bulb for something that will last for years, it's altogether different to have them die faster than the traditional bulbs. Be aware there are 570 lumen (60w equiv) and 270 lumen (40w equiv) and the two are VERY different. The problems seem to be with the 10.5 w/60w equivalent bulbs. The color is different and the quality seems to be very poor. The bulbs appear to be out of any warranty in less than 6 months or I would seek a refund. These bulbs (570 lumen, 10.5w) are garbage and you should avoid. The 40w replacement bulbs have the original light color and have not burned out prematurely. So much for GE's vaunted Six-sigma....

Not White light look
I Put these lights in were one was daylight white next to the reveal lights and they have a yellow tint to them not bright white as described.

not the only GE Reveal LED HD bulb
Don't confuse this with the 9W bulb. This one is slightly larger, and may look inconsistent, sharing an exposed fixture with the other.
