Violent Femmes Green Marble Vinyl

Five stars for the album, two for the pressing. The new Craft reissue sounds pretty good overall, but I've gone through two copies from Amazon now with the exact same defect: a visible mark about 3/4" long across track 4 on side one, "Add It Up". It causes pops and crackles like a scratch, but it appears to more of an indented pressing error. This mark affects the a capella beginning to one of the greatest songs on the album - of course! Hopefully a future batch will be free of this defect.

I've listened to two copies of this now and not super impressed. The first one had so much surface noise and crackle that there had to have been some sort of defect in pressing. It was essentially unlistenable. I've never heard a new record sound that bad. Amazon QUICKLY sent a replacement and its definitely better, but not as good as it should sound. The originals cost too much so this will have to do till the next anniversary.

There is a flaw in the first two tracks which are Blister in the Sun and Kiss Off or I just got a bad copy. It skips horribly on both of those songs and it just happens that those are my two favorite songs on the album. The rest of the album is fine but I am extremely disappointed and will not make any future Vinyl purchases on Amazon.

Glad they repressed this. Old copies were getting very pricey and for $21 this is a steal on 180g thick beautiful vi up.. sounds perfect! Finally I have this in my vinyl collection!!!

So glad this was re-released. It's a great album in that if you heard one song and liked it then you know you'll like the rest. The pressing is solid and it was a decent price.

Such an incredible album by the Femmes. Makes me think about my teen years running around at night in a little Orange VW Bug listening to this album on cassette.

Record arrived quickly and it had been packaged and shipped with care. The cover, liner and vinyl were in excellent condition and came exactly as advertised. Highly recommend!

Muy buen vinilo, el sonido está muy bien mejor que otros discos reeditados que he comprado que se nota un sonido totalmente plano. El sonido dudo que difiera mucho de la primera edición. Sin duda recomiendo su compra.

El disco suena brutal . Pero la portada y el acabado son más bien austeros . Por el precio estuvo mucho mejor que caer en un mixup.
