BestAir ES12 Kenmore 14911 / Emerson HDC-12 Replacement Wick Filter - 8 Filters

This filter fits my Kenmore humidifier well. Lasts long, but when it eventually fills up with minerals from my water, it is tough to regenerate. I do turn the filters over and I get some more use before regeneration. I use hot water on another filter I have for a smaller humidifier and it flushes out the minerals well. I get much more use out of it. But, when I do the same for this Best Air filter, it seems to lose its integrity and does not fit so well in the Kenmore unit. So, I use cold water which is not as effective to flush out the minerals.

These filters fit the humidifier, but they do a poor job of getting the moisture into the air. When I use these filters the humidity, as measured by the humidifier, stays much lower than when I use the original filters. I don't have to fill the humidifier as often, but that's a poor trade-off in my view. The whole point of the humidifier is to get the moisture into the air, and these filters don't do a good job of that.

We've been using a console-sized humidifier for years, and tried a number of different filters from the original Honeywell replacements to the very cheap bulk filters. These BestAir filters have the quality we need, and aren't terribly expensive (as replacement filters go). The cheap bulk filters are made of substandard paper that degrades rapidly, gumming up the works and harboring mold if you don't pay attention to them. You get what you pay for, and BestAir makes a decent product.

They work just fine on my 16 year Kenmore humidifier. Bought a new humidifier last year, such convoluted set up that I am keeping my old humidifier until it does not work anymore. These filters have done the trick, I have bought them for years and they work. I change them every season (that's every winter season). I do use reverse osmosis in the humidifier as well and a bacteriostatic treatment . Made sure I bought a few filters, just in case.

These work but they stop taking in water fairly quickly so they stop working quickly. These are the shortest lasting humidifier filters I've used. Would not purchase again.

We loved the product and works perfectly. So easy to install. Excellent quality just like at competitors but at a much lower price plus ease of having it delivered instead of waisting gas as time going to the store

The filters fit and are actually better than the originals as this has a metal support to make the filter stand up better.

They don't last as long as I would like but I have hard water, so none would last very long.By filtering water they last about a month and a half to two months.
