Base is heavier than expected and is much appreciated. Easy assembly and gives clearance up off your counter/shelf/ whatever, that is nice.

The pictures are deceiving, this has a much heavier base that expected. THAT IS A PLUS!!!!I honestly didn't think it was going to be able to hold a metal ornamental helmet and it does with such ease! Even an old football helmet made it without this falling over. I'm super impressed!

Bought it for my replica Darth Vader helmet and it holds it up perfectly. Nice fit, doesn't let the bottom of the helmet touch the shelf so its a big thumbs up in my book. Also seems to be build from sturdy material.

Because these stands have a totally round and smooth "head" shape, items placed on them can rotate around slowly and fall off. Probably will not happen with lighter hats, but heavier helmets will definitely fall off in time. I may try to modify to add to the round shape and make it more oval or add velcro to add some friction, but right now the 2 sets of these I bought (4 total) are useless, because helmets will randomly fall off with a clunk after a week or so. They may then hit other things on the same shelf and knock them to the floor damaging them. So useless at present, though as I say they may work OK for hats. In future I will buy helmet stands with a more true oval head shape, even if more expensive.

Searched online for a good mount for my fencing mask. This works great.

Works for what I need it for. I purchased this to hold my helmet as I didn't want it to get scratched or knocked over. I have an xxl size full face helmet and this stand does the job.

It’s nice and sturdy, holds up the helmet securely with lots of clearance.
