Be Careful with your ipad....
So this thing would be a totally awesome product if it worked. I'm lucky my ipad still works, but it has twice leaked on me when using in the bath and for some miracle my ipad didn't get water damaged.... but heres the thing, the black part at the top has no strength at the seams of the plastic, I notice little holes being teared where the top connects to the clear plastic.... it fills with water and boom, your ipad is potentially ruined. You'd be better off with a couple of ziplocks... hope that helps

Almost Great....but....
I bought this before the Ipad was even released. I love to read in the hot tub, bathtub, or anyplace with water and there is nothing worse than getting your book (or in this case $800 tablet) wet. When I purchased my Ipad I put a ZAGG InvisiShield on it to protect it.So it has been a couple of months now that I have had my Ipad and InvisiShield so I decided it was high time I read a book (using Kindle for Ipad of course) and so I filled up my bathtub and started reading using my nifty waterproof case (this one here that I am reviewing.) So below is what you will find as my pros and cons:Pros: My Ipad didn't get wet. That is the main purpose of this, so it is good that it worked that way! Basically it has two ziplock type enclosures and seals your Ipad in really well. I have the Ipad case from Apple and did NOT need to remove it to get it in here (A HUGE PLUS!) I was still nervous with expensive electronics in the bathtub, but this thing did well. (I did not submerge it, but it did get wet often.)Also, I noted hardly any loss in touch control. It did a great job in this regard! I was worried about this, but don't worry, touch still works well!So 3 Pros: Kept dry, I could use my Apple Ipad Case with it, really no loss of touch control.Cons: Okay, this is the reason I only gave it 3 stars. Now, to be fair, this might not be this product's fault, it could be Zagg's InvisiShield's fault: When I removed my Ipad from the waterproof case, it stuck to my screen protector - like glue. It took me 10 minutes to get my Ipad out of this waterproof case and it pulled enough on my screen protector I now have hundreds of air bubbles under my screen protector. I don't know if it was the humidity or what that caused the two to stick together, but it was absolutely a nightmare getting my Ipad out of the case. I now have to order a new screen protector. Because of this reason I now have a choice: protect my screen 24/7 or protect my Ipad when by water - not a good choice to make.I really don't know if I should be blaming Zagg or this product, but none the less, I can no longer use this product. (As a side note, my screen protector had been on for a couple of months so it was dry and fixed.)If you are one of those people who don't use a screen protector, I assume you won't have any problems, but I can't be 100% sure. I would like to read comments from others who used this product with their Ipad and if they had any problems with removal from the pouch.Bottom line, it will keep your Ipad dry, but may cost you a lot of headaches with your screen protector.

iPad Waterproof Case
This case is similar to other waterproof "bags"; it has two parallel "zip locks" and you roll/fold down the flap after you have sealed it. There is a patch of Velcro and two snaps to secure the folded flap, and there is also an adjustable lanyard. This is much better than using a disposable zip lock storage bag as the plastic is nice and clear (FYI, it has clear panels on both sides with purple plastic around the edges). There is also ample room if you have a skin on the iPad. The seams are heat sealed and the overall quality looks to be good.Touch response is only slightly dampened and the ipad's sound is hardly affected as well.I am hesitant to submerge my new iPad, but this product has so far satisfied my needs (I am writing this review in my hot tub).Delivery time was as advertised, and my only gripe is that the price is just a little bit high.

Just what we needed to use the ipad in the bathtub.
Ipad + bathtub = bad idea, right? Well, yes, unless you have something like this. We have purchased this product designed for the kindle, and we have been very pleased with it--we use our kindle now without fear in the bathtub, at the beach, and in pools. So far we have never been disappointed! The point of chief importance is how waterproofy this little bag is, and for that I give it 5 stars. The sealing mechanism for the top is a sturdy but easily closable doubled zip lock which folds in on itself, and then a snapping mechanism to keep the folds sealed. The plastic is thick but not too thick, and you can still read the screen well through it. I find that the touch glass works just fine through the bag, but I don't play games with it normally--I just use it for reading and surfing. For those applications this bag is perfect. If you want to play action games, well, I'm not sure if it would be responsive or not, but I bet it could be done. This product was exactly what I needed.

waterproof case - only ok
In the summer, I just want to read by the pool. I thought this waterproof case would be the answer. Unfortunately, it tends to over heat the Ipad. It might be waterproof, but after 45 minutes of reading in the sun, the ipad flashed the temperature warning. The inside of the bag was way too hot. In the shade I'm sure it is great, but not in direct sunlight. It might be waterproof, but not sun proof.

Great so far
Just received this nifty cover today. It fits great and I love the color! The few times we have went out on the boat, I have been using a Ziplock bag. It is pretty similiar to the waterproof cases that they have for cell phones and cameras. With this brilliant cover, I no longer need to worry about the possibility of water damage. I am happy to have found something that will protect this expensive device.
