This product works! Hands down, without a doubt, attracts, traps, and kills flies. We bought a home with a pool a few months ago. Hosted our first BBQ, and a swarm of flies came out of nowhere. After the BBQ we started having so many flies outside, so I ordered these POP Fly traps. Here is my review: Pros: -This device is a fly attracter, distractor, trapper, and killer. -Easy to use, pop UP the lid, add water exactly to fill line, set far enough away to where you cant smell it. -Reusable container. Cons: -The solution inside stinks like a rotting corpse. It smells like a port-a-potty from a music festival that hasn't been cleaned in months and has been simmering in constant heat. Brace yourself for a nostrils wake up call from hell. Ever wanted to see if you could make it as a doctor, taking a whiff of this product should be part of your entrance exam. -Emptying the reusable container isn't as easy of the disposable Pop bags. With the bottles, you have to take off the lid and dump into the trash directly (WHICH YOU'RE DAMNED IF YOU DO, OR YOU HAVE COVID AND CAN'T SMELL IT), or dumping into a trash bag, or some bag to contain the smell, then throw it away. Then after all that you still have to rinse out and setup the bottle again. Things to know: -The instructions I don't think were clear enough to how far away one REALLY should put this product. When we started using it, we put it about 20-25 ft. away, which it worked, but the slightest draft of wind would carry the scent right towards us. We then moved it to about 50 ft. away, and that made all the difference. It actually attracted nearly all flies away from our back porch and towards the POP fly trap. -The instructions tell you to empty the container every 30 days or once full. Our fly trap filled up almost completely within two weeks, and I'm sure will vary depending on the degree of your fly problems. But you need to keep an eye on it so you can quickly empty and set it back up again. -I'd advise users to set this product under some sort of covered space or area to prevent rain water from getting in. I noticed, during one week that we had a bunch of rain, that the smelly solution in the container sort of got diluted and weakened its effectiveness. So keeping the solution stinky is the key.

I like the ease of use and the effectiveness of the trap to attract and capture flies by the bunches. It does what is says it will do very well. The issue is, it attracts flies and thus attracts flies from all over neighborhood and therefore, the purpose of trying to get rid of the pesky flies while sitting outside with this doesn't work for that purpose. There are as much if not more flies than before bothering me. The flies just keeps on coming. I've had it out for a month now. The smell gets noticeable and stronger as more dead flies accumulate in the bottle. It works but not for my needs. This is a revised review: After a month of use, I got rid of the container full of flies and made the initial review. Now, after two weeks I've noticed I have little or no fly problems outdoors and this is without fly trap. I think the trap made a difference! I will set another one when I see any new infestations. Good product!

I had an issue with a fly infestation on the side of my house where we keep our garbage cans. The flys were getting into the basement through the foundation and the problem was out of hand. I purchased 2 fly zappers which killed flys but did not stop the infestation. I found this product, read the reviews and gave it a shot. It works so well. Flys fight each other to get into the bottle and die. Our whole fly problem was solved within the week. We placed 3 bottles where we saw flys. All three bottles were filled with flys. Thousands of flys. Use these outside as they stink to high heaven but they work and they work quick. The bottles were black with flys. It says you can reuse them but frankly with all those flys and the stink I'd rather throw them out. I've purchased another 3 pack that sits in my garage waiting in case I ever have another issue. Great product
