I have just installed these and they operate as stated. I cannot comment on the longevity of them yet.

Well made and does the job.
Heavy Duty and well made. It would be nice if screws were included.

Not Ideal for Vehicle Aplication
These are not heavy duty enough to last more than a few months in a vehicle application where things can shift around. Also there is no screws provided for attaching hardware. Otherwise they work great as intended just not in this situation. I also had the 28" variation.
