Sharks (Insiders)

It is one of the most understandable on sharks and written by two people who spent a life time sswiming wth sharks. Full disclosure: The late Jack Musick who headed up the Virginia Institute Of Marine Science is the person who got me interested in sharks back in the 80's. The co writer ,Beverly MCMillan was Jacks . wife and has spent eons swiiming with the toothy ones... Most shark bites in this country are caused by swimmer ignorance. I kow because I live near an area in Florida that racks them up every year. IFor ten bucks or less you can get educated and save a trip to the hospital plus not looking like a dump ass when you troop thru surf. The book is also a must for boaters and fishermen Last but not least the illustrations are the best of any book published on sharks. Caution..don't let that shark on the cover clamp down. on your hand. You have been warned.

Fast shipping and was a very reasonable price. I'm pleased with how the book looks like it is in new condition! I bought it as a Christmas gift for my 6 year old because he has four other Insiders books and he loves them! Very happy with my purchase.

Bought the book for my son who is in love with sharks. He truly enjoys flipping thru the book and rattling off facts to everyone about the different things shown.

When I ordered the first 3 insiders books, I wanted these for Christmas and we got it in time. We order 3 more books were for my grandaugther's birthdayher 4 days after Christmas and got these in time, I am very pleased. Beautiful book no scratch looks like new. Maggie

My 8 yr old son loves these books. He now wants to collect all of them.

I would rate it for 4 - 7 year old...in that neighborhood...good for read along...go from one photo to the next and make up your own story or ready part of it or let the kid try to read..
