My dad loved Val Doonican and played his albums a lot when I was a child. Bought this for him as he suffers from Dementia and Val Doonican's music still reaches him even when he forgets who his daughter is. For me it gives me a connection to my father even though we now live thousands of miles apart.

Val Doonican was always underated. This CD will be really enjoyed by all those who appreciated him - and possibly gather a new legion of fans. Super voice and good selection of his songs.
