Use this for my bearded dragon. Arcadia is a great brand and it lasts a long time.

Do research and make sure this light will work for you’re species of animal, the distance from where the light will set compared to where the animal will bask, that it’s not the same length of your enclosure so the animal can escape it and that however it will be mounted it will remain a good UVB percentage (mesh lids obscure the amount of UVB penetrating down to the animal) all that said this is the exact like I needed for my Uromastyx in a 4’x2’x2’ PVC enclosure . It was packaged well ensuring it took no damage which is greatly appreciated.

Arrived in good condition and when expected. I was able to just take it out of the box and pop it in - my beardie is happy :)

This is our third of this bulb for our bearded dragon. We have a uv tester and the bulbs last a much longer time than other brands we’ve purchased.

I bought this several months ago to have on hand for when mine goes out because I live where there are none available so I NEED the back up for my bearded dragon! Well, I put this in and dont have a back up cause it has only been in 3 weeks and it has already gone out! I am stuck with NOTHING for my beardie right now! Luckily he is brumating! I am NOT HAPPY! Plus it has been several months since I actually bought it so there is nothing I can do! I these arent cheap! Completely UPSET

I got the light and my UV Meter indicated that it's not as good as it should be. So I left a 1 star review as I was upset. The seller contacted me and told me that the reflector I was using(Sunblaster Nanoreflector) is known to be bad for UVB. So I ordered an Arcadia reflector from the seller. When I got it, I was pretty skeptical but I put the meter under the light. Wow! It actually makes a difference! With the Sunblaster reflector it only gave me a reading on 70 on my UVB 6.2 meter, at about 12 inches distance. With Arcadia reflector I get about 110-130 reading! Problem solved! After that I ordered an Arcadia ProT5 kit that comes with Dragon bulb and fixture and reflector. Even better! Bottom line, it's a good bulb if you use an arcadia reflector!

The best uvb bulb on the market. Arcadia provides optimal uvb output even at a distance of 30cm so I don't have to worry if my bearded dragon is getting enough uvb! My favourite part is that it is enchanced naturally with D3 so I no longer have to worry about supplementing calcium with a synthetic D3 vitamin. Now I only offer plain calcium and let the D3 synthesis happen naturally with this bulb! Instead of having to replace it every 6 months like other uvb bulbs - these ones will last a whole year! Love it.

If you’re looking to get a good bulb Arcadia is the way to go, it’s why they are always almost out. My only issue was ordering online because it’s a long light bulb that could break easily but Northern Gecko did a fantastic job on packaging and it got here almost 2 weeks before expected.
