I recently acquired the GALLAWAY LEATHER Padfolio Portfolio Folder, and it has proven to be an excellent addition to my professional gear. Amazing. The shipping time was two days and it was on my doorstep. The quality of the portfolio is outstanding. I have spent countless hours in the store looking at $100 portfolios and they did not have the simplistic sophistication and professional look that I was going for. I will be the speaker at a funeral next week and this portfolio was very important to me. I would definitely buy it again. I will even gift these two anyone needing a polished professional look. I really like this padfolio. It's quite retro, it matches my daily work bag perfectly, and the style is perfect. However, I could live without the "strap in a loop" closure. I'd rather have had some sort of magnet closure or something a bit more secure and a little less fidgety. The other thing I noticed is that when I tried to keep my MacBook 12" in the inside pocket, which seemed perfectly suited for just that, the pocket actually irreversibly stretched. Now I'm left with a saggy pocket when my MacBook isn't in it. I would definitely warn against using that inside pocket for this. Another caveat is that this padfolio wears quickly - more quickly than usual. Just keeping it in my work bag, I've discovered marks, scuffs and dents in it and I'm pretty darn careful with my leather products. I suppose if you go for the more weathered look, this will achieve that in a matter of months - but if you intend to try to keep this thing in pristine condition, you're going to find it incredibly difficult to accomplish that. Overall, though, I still like this padfolio. I would definitely buy it again even knowing what I know now. This is leather (not faux) and smells like it. It would be a beautiful gift; it has no "price tag" look to it. I plan to use it on an interview to hold my resume and take any notes needed. Very professional. Very chic. I bought the lighter brown/camel color. It's brand new so I cannot attest to it's sturdiness yet -- and I don't plan to use it often -- but it certainly appears to be well crafted. I would imagine that it should hold up about as well as any other leather folder in this style, regardless of brand or cost.

Great looking portfolio, with excellent feel. This is very much suitable for an experienced professional or someone starting out with their first interviews. Very nice product and I highly recommend.

Overall the item is of great quality, have had mine for about 10 months now. It doesn't peel and is quite sturdy. Photo explanations/points to note: - To use the folio as intended (inserting notebooks on the right side), you will need to use notebooks with a thin "spine joint" (pic 2). Otherwise, it won't fit in the right pocket (pic 3), and you will have to insert the notebook in the left pocket. - Spine notebooks: spine has to be <1cm in diameter, and inserted on the left pocket, not the right (pics 4 and 5) - Holds a notebook of max 1cm thickness. Currently I use this to hold my Rocketbook and it works well, the pen holder can fit most pens. Downsides: - May have some mold when it arrives, due to humidity. Wipe it off and it won't come back, don't use a cloth that's too wet as it could damage the lining material. - Has a mushroom-y smell that lasts for a few months but goes off eventually. - Doesn't open flat, you'll need something to weigh down the flap with the belt attached. Folding it over itself may cause the joints to overextend and tear. (last pic)

I am a realtor and useless to bring my cut sheets and also put note paper in when I'm meeting with clients. Feels like nice quality leather and not heavy. Nice spot to put my business cards as well.
