The first one received had a loose gear. So we promptly went on line and requested a replacement. When the replacement was received, there even more loose items on the necklace. That's why we requested a refund. It's an attractive necklace, however the craftmanship used to assemble it lacks much to be desired. I know it was reasonably priced, but they could have used better glue to hold these items together.

Steampunk style gears and mechanical power of the industrial revolution. It is an excellent piece of jewelry. I thought 1st one ordered was broken through chain and Mom realized that it just came unfastened. I had gotten a replacement so she liked it and I gave it to her. Now I have to get the matching earrings, but need conversion kit....she has NO pierced ears. She likes some of my punk/Gothic stuff. Especially this. I highly recommend getting both. Chain length is perfect!!!!!

Very nice necklace but - although packaged securely in a gift box - it arrived with one gear broken and one gear missing. I will not bother to return for $8.54; I'll try to fix it with some crazy glue. The missing gear will probably not be noticeable. Recommend taking heed if this is going to be a gift.

Neat design and somewhat irregular, eye-catching piece in the "steam-punk" category. The necklace is quite long - I had to shorten the links to get it to rest above a low neckline. Most of the watch cogs are linked together, so they have a tendancy to flip upside-down, and unfortunately, the wearer has to constantly fiddle with them to remain right-side up. To avoid in future, I am considering super-gluing the pieces together (like the main chunk already is).

I really like this piece quite a bit. The one complaint I have is kind of a big one. The chains are linked on both sides and they are each 11" long which is just too long for most necklines. When I try to shorten the length I really have to almost clasp it all the way around the other side and then have this long chain right there in an awkward spot as opposed to draping down the neck. Since the price is right and it's for a costume, like another reviewer stated I'll have to get some needle nose pliers and cutters and jimmy-rig this to fit right.

This is a lovely, sturdy, beautiful piece. I’m tall and sometimes necklaces are short and feel like they’ll choke me. This is perfect and has a bit of length to it - easily rectified if you’re short.

Beautiful piece unfortunately it broke the first time it was used. The part of the chain came undone. It wasn’t pulled or yanked it just came undone.

Bought it to go with my steam punk halloween costume and it fits perfectly in the area it needs! It was broke when I got it, 1 of the gears was off but I can super glue it back I'm sure
