I did not realize how uninformed I truly was when it comes to the Jewish feasts. I thoroughly love the easy to read and understand style. I now have a much clearer understanding of how the feasts are NOT in any way putting people back under the "law" as I was raised up believing...The feasts are very clearly celebrations of our wonderful Father God! I am so thrilled that Valerie has included the Jewish lunar calendar and how it relates to our calendar. My favorite part is how she clearly explains the feasts through the Bible, tradition and how they are celebrated today. I love my Jewish brothers and sisters and really want to know my Yeshua (Jesus) so much more!

I agree with all of the positives of the other reviews, and thoroughly enjoy this book. The history and information of how the feasts are celebrated are extremely interesting and helpful.Just FYI--the copy I received was a spiral bound, and I wasn't expecting that since a friend has one that is book bound, and I didn't notice this in the ordering description. I don't mind, and actually prefer it, since it's easier to fold the pages back when keeping the book open for recipes, etc. I'm not sure if all copies would be that way.

This book is really good for anyone that wants to know about the Biblical Feasts. It gives good information about what is Biblical and what is man. I have bought several of these for different friends and they also seem to really like it because it is very easy to understand. It also has recipes to go along with the feasts. I highly recommend this book to anyone who really wants to know and understand these feasts.

This book is undoubtedly the best resource available for learning and understanding the Jewish Feasts from a Christian perspective!My family and I have recently been celebrating the feasts and this book walked us through every detail we needed to know to prepare for each one.I thank God for this book and the authors obedience in writing it and I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning how and why Christians should continue to observe all of the feasts!

I truly appreciate The Feasts of Adonai. I'm awed by the book.As Christians, we are suppose to walk in the footsteps of Christ. Christ honored and celebrated the Holy Days (the 7 Feast Days) of Leviticus 23 and the Saturday Sabbath as given by God. Now I know the history and symbolism of the Holy Days, their significance to Christianity, and, in detail, how to celebrate them. The feast days of the people are also detailed in the book.Included are the accompanying prayers for the Holy Days and the feast days of the people in English, and quite a few also in Hebrew. (I would have appreciated ALL of the prayers in English AND Hebrew, with an accompanying Hebrew pronunciation guide.)The Feasts of Adonai is "comprehensive," but simple to follow; it's PROFOUND in meaning.
