Piece of JUNK!!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
We bought this to remove our tub drain. We didn't get around to doing it until 48 days later, really busy lives. The tool didn't work and the tool started to brake. We stopped using it to return and get our money back for this piece of CRAP that didn't even do what we bought it to do. Tried to get a refund just got a message saying we couldn't because it was past the return time. I understand that and now we are stuck with a $40 tool that will NEVER be used. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!

It worked but not without tweaks
This tool worked, but not without some additional tweaking. 1. I used a hacksaw to make 4 vertical incisions inside the tub drain to help the tool to catch on the drain's surface (don't cut in too deep to not damage the pipe); 2. used the hair dryer to warm up and soften the old putty 3. removed the rubber handle and used the adjustable wrench to be able to apply more torque to expand the tool. After that the tool was able to turn the tub drain and unscrew it.

Disappointed
Tool is essentially useless, doesn't grip well enough and it's design makes it near impossible to tighten.Disappointed, wouldn't recommend.

Expando is a lifesaver for drain removal without hassle
After trying various tools to remove my tub drain this tool worked like a charm and was easy to use. Because it can expand from small diameter to large it is guaranteed to fit in the drain. The expando secures to the drain sides. The built in handle allows great leverage to move and remove the drain. It was a success. I was surprised to find that professional plumbers did not have this tool, A wonderful investment.
