Excellent, using for post op treatment. Had major foot surgery and need hot and cold therapy treatments.....i recommend using a towel when using product....no complaints

First thing, I'm using this only as an ice pack - I had been using the pack for a couple of years and thanks for my practicing sport I decided to buy another one. However, I was disappointed to find out that the quality os no longer what it was. The main issue is that there is less gel material; the new version has 50 grams less of cooling/warming material inside (but the price has remained the same) and the cooling is not as intense from the very start. After 15 minutes the pack starts to loose its ability to cool, by the 20th minute it has defrosted completely. The old pack used to last up to 30 minutes, but also it was cooler overall.So off to a new manufacturer - what a shame.

I had fallen and injured my knee a few days before Christmas - not sufficiently bad to wait for a long time in A&E. Past medical experience with knee problems had taught me that ice is excellent for such problems, or a pack of frozen peas in an emergency. Frozen peas not very convenient as they need to be wrapped in a tea towel or something to avoid cold burn of the joint. Had some ice packs which hasn't been used for some time and the shape meant they didn't easily bend. Found these on Amazon, delivered next morning, The pack was still cold! I put it in freezer then when it was properly frozen I slid it in to the sleeve, strapped it round my knee. It fitted well and the velcro fastening was easy to use single handed. Had been a bit concerned about that. Elevated my leg and sat with it strapped round my knee for about half an hour. It helped enormously, would definitely recommend it and the fact that it arrived the next morning, still cold so close to Christmas, was a bonus. Have used it a few times since.

I have just had Total knee replacement and have found the gell pack a God Send ,The padding also is soft and comfortable I can only speak for myself 65 yr old lady but can see how the Velcro wrap around would be superb for athletes and all operations where there is swelling and painI asked the firm a question regarding leaving the pack itself in freezer between uses as I found it lasted longer on my swellings ,obviously there is always need for caution using ice or heat ,read instructions or ask the very amenable company for adviceI would use it on my under 12s grandchildren after a fall again using care but a twisted knee or ankle ,it would be greatI am very happy with this product and wouldn't hesitate to buy from them againA great reasonably priced ice pack good value

While suffering with the dreaded ''shin splints'' and previously with peroneal tendonitis these gel packs have provided great relief. The only small niggle with the gel pack is that they're often solid after a night in the freezer and need a little persuasion to be made into a leg shape.The strap which comes with the gel pack houses it perfectly well and has a soft side which is preferable against your skin, however the velcro to secure it in place us on the opposite side and the strap needs a half twist to make the velcro face the right way.Small niggles aside, this has helped ease post run soreness and provided injury relief for me for months.

I get sore knees after playing indoor football so I've been getting relief from icing with a couple of kids' "boo-boo" packs (small round ice packs). This thing has stepped up the game by allowing me to have a good, large ice-pack on my knee that's held securely in place by an elasticated velcro strap. The length of the ice pack means it wraps around the joint nicely and cools from both sides, so I'm free to just put my foot up and watch TV while the ice does its work.
