This cargo carrier is great!! This was our first time buying a car top carrier, so naturally I looked at several different brands and styles, and I couldn't believe how expensive some were and how even those had poor reviews. I wanted something that was reasonably priced, durable and got good reviews, so I went with this one and it did not disappoint! We just completed a 3,500 mile road trip and it handled it flawlessly. One of the days of our trip, we were in a very heavy rain storm and it didn't leak at all. It arrived 2 days earlier than expected, was the perfect size and durability (we had 3 carry-ons, 4 duffel bags and still had room for 1-2 more small bags), and was super easy to install. I highly recommend this product.

Overall an excellent product for the price. The price is right, the order shipped and arrived quickly. Solid shopping experience. I already have over 5K miles with it on two trips. Zero real problems or challenges in working with it. It endured some serious rain with no moisture getting inside. On the first trip, I had it slightly over stuffed, so put a spider web bungee over it just to be sure. After the trip and how it preformed, I'm fairly sure it was not needed. The second trip I didn't use the bungee and it was fine.Space wise, it feels huge. You can fit a lot of gear in it. A 5 gallon bucket can stand up inside.Installation was very simple once my crossbars were set to the right distance. All mounting parts are included to attach it to your bars. The only reason for four stars versus five is I'd pay a few dollars more for them to do just a bit more at the factory. The latch clips are sent in a parts bag. They would be very easy to lose on a trip or over time, so I got some wire connectors from HomeDepot and attached them as you can see in the image. Do that at the factory, and it would be worth a few dollars more to the customer. Also helps to not lose the clips if you put luggage locks on the side locks for added security while traveling.The clamp nuts are on the less expensive side, with plastic thumbscrew covers on them. One broke the first time I installed it. Same type of thing, provide better quality and I'd pay a few dollars more so I don't have to track down replacements. The only other issue to be aware of is the props. They take some getting used to. I would hope that someone could engineer something a little better that would not cost much more to the customer. They do work though.When I was shopping, I saw comments about feeling flimsy. I would call it flexible, but not flimsy. The material is solid to the point where I had no concerns about it on a 4K mile trip around the western US.Regardless of these small issues, bang for the buck, it is a solid box and I would buy one again.

Light, big, but very difficult to lock, because plastic is very flimsy.

The main loc in the back is very cheaply made and did not work properly from the start. I was still able to use it since there are two side locks that work. However, I do not recommend this product. The fact that the main lock in the back does not work properly is clearly a design flaw. I am amazed that they are selling stuff like this.

Assembly is really tough. I had my 9 year old crawl inside of it to put a clip where it belonged as I couldn't position myself as necessary.After that it mounts to the mini van straight forwardly.But it's hard to get the lid open, I have to lift one side at a time and put the steel bars (that you see in the picture) onto a clip but you can't get the clip lined up where it needs to be until the other side is raised. Which means you have to, in my case, move a ladder from one side to the other and then back to the side that you started with to secure the lid safety.This is a flimsy plastic carrier that I would not recommend to anyone. I will say that it doesn't leak water and it has no road noise. It just a pain in the ass. And one of those "clips" fell out, its a friction fit. Fortunately, I found it and put it back.I couldn't imagine the return shipping so I have kept it.

Works great. Easy to install. Put on car by a single female with no mechanical prowess. Holds alot. Shipped quick! Fabulous!

We bought this cargo box ahead of a trip to Yellowstone and we were really happy to have the extra space. For what you pay, you get a TON of storage. Installation is easy and I set everything up in about 20 minutes.Pros:- Easy installation, no tools needed and can be done without a second pair of hands- Worked with my existing roof rack without any modification- Tons of space for the price. Most boxes with this amount of storage cost way more- Lightweight and easy to place on or remove form the vehicle- Long enough for tents, camping chairs, and still deep enough for duffel bags and sleeping bagsCons:- Support arms are a little difficult to work, especially from the side- Doesn't have a durable feel to it, but it holds up fine
