Water system runs much more smoothly.
I was really gratified at the huge improvement this little one liter accumulator made for my marine potable water system, no more cutting in an out or stuttering when I wash my hands or a dish. Increasing the pre charge was easy with a bicycle pump and gage. Manual says to set 3 psi below cut in pressure, a label on the box says 2; I used 3 but I doubt that matters much. I was worried about the o ring seal and retaining clips, but it hasn't leaked a drop all summer.

Works, but expect failure
Smoothed out the water pump on my boat system, but I do not expect it to last. This stores pressure in an internal bladder filled with air, so the minor uses do not cycle the water pump. The bladder is slightly pressurized with a standard bicycle pump. The last rubber bladder failed, so I expect this one to as well in a couple years. Unfortunately, even though I could easily replace the rubber bladder, it is not sold, so it is a $100 replacement. The other problem is there is no guidance for what to pressurize it to.

great but, note on clips
all good. Note that they changed the clips from the old models, use the new ones or it will leak.

Bought the tank and it was an easy install. Wish I would have bought it with ...
My water pump went out last summer on my boat so I installed a new pump. The new pump created a pulsating water flow, so water bounced off sinks and made a mess. Later learned the proper terminology for this was "Water Hammer." After checking my system for leaks, I decided to try adding an accumulator tank based on recommendations from fellow boaters. Bought the tank and it was an easy install. Wish I would have bought it with with my old pump. Very nice water flow now and the pump doesn't constantly run when simply flushing the toilet or other minor water use tasks. It's especially nice in the middle of the night, no more waking up to the sound of the pump.

Easy to install, reduces pump cycling.
I purchased this to replace the same model that was already installed on my boat. Installation was simple as I already had the fittings from the existing unit. The fittings push into each side and are then locked in place with some sliding wedges. The whole changeout process took less than 5 minutes. In the case of a new installation, you need to find a location where you can mount the housing, and cut into existing lines. This particular unit shipped with one straight and one 90 degree hose barb fitting, while the old unit had straight hose barb fittings on both ends. Since my hoses were already lined up, I reused the existing fittings. Unit works well, greatly reducing the pump cycling.

Good tank in a small package
We needed an accumulator tank for our small RV and this fit the bill perfectly. It has enough expansion to handle our 6 gallon water heater. It also keeps the water pump from running in short bursts every time we use the water. It came with the necessary fittings to install it, but we needed to get some crimp rings to install it into our PEX plumbing. Overall, well worth the price.

Solved the crazy water pulsing on the sailboat!
I installed a new FloJet pump on the sailboat and the water pulsing was so bad that it would splash out of the galley sink! I tried to research if a small accumulator tank would “solve” the problem or just “help” a little. Decided to go with this model as it is 1 liter instead of the 3/4 liter of other brands. The flow now is silky smooth!!! Check the video…problem SOLVED! I couldn’t be happier with this purchase!

Bad quality o-rings bring down an otherwise good product
I got this last week and was able to install it easily. Got everything completed and turned on the pump, only to find a very slow drip coming from where the fittings connect to the tank via an o-ring fitting. After taking everything apart, I found that the o-rings supplied with the fittings were sub-standard. They had striations in them from a poorly-made mold, and they were really too small for the task at hand. Both of these design flaws contributed to a slow but constant leak. I only run at 45 psi and they leaked. There is no way they would hold at the product's maximum pressure. Solution was simple and cheap. For only $1.50 I was able to get two new o-rings from the local hardware store that were slightly beefier than the originals, and that were manufactured without striations. I used a tiny amount of silicon plumbing lubricant to reassemble. The new o-rings were much more snug than the originals and I could immediately feel the difference. Pressurized the pump, cleared the air in the system, and now the tank is holding pressure with no dripping. It's a shame that an otherwise good product was brought down by such substandard parts.

The accumulator has now been fitted and has cut down the stop start of the freshwater pump considerably .

It is relatively small and very easy to install. Functions as advertised at lest so far into a months use.

This is a great bit of kit, evening out water flow, essentila for an instantaneous water heater. However, I feel that it is seriously over priced being just a bit of plastic and rubber. It can't cost a lot to make. Also, spare bladders/diaphragms are not available, if there is a split in the diaphragm you have to buy a whole new unit. My first one lasted at least 10 years and I will buy anotherwhen this one fails.

The tank arrived quickly and was completely as advertised. Easy to install as well.
