This fan is very sturdy and well put together. It’s very quiet, but you know it’s on. Just like most others I use the fan to help me sleep at night and it pretty much stays on 24/7. I love the little plastic feet that come with the fan to help it stand up by itself. The feet are extra wide and bigger than other fans to help it stay standing even if it gets bumped into. There’s also a place on the back of the fan where you can wrap the cord and put it inside a little recess to keep it out of the way. The fan is definitely worth the money. My last fan was a hurricane and it quit working after about a year. I’m hoping this one will last longer. I may go ahead and pick up another fab before summer you should also.

Great choice of fans. It's slim but with really secure footing so the fan does not get knocked over easily. And the power button is located on the front of the fan, not on top which makes this a really unique design.

Functions. We might also need a BIG fan, although storage of that would be inconvenient. Feet must be attached with provided screws, then detached for storage (wonder if the plastic holes will be stripped of threads in the process). Not as attractive as expected: dull, black plastic body (think it's of injection molding - has permanent, grease-like discoloration similar to DIY plastic garage shelving).

We bought two of these, one for our living-room and one for our children's room which doesn't cool/heat very well during those hot/cold months. I'm surprised at how much our children have been rougher than I would have wanted, and it hasn't broken yet. We've had it about a month now. I sometimes forget the one in our living-room is on; I don't realized until I'm in the room because the temperature is noticeably less. If I'm watching TV I have not had to adjust the sound due to the little noise this makes. That isn't to say it's soundless, there is noise from it, but barely.

This fan is great as far as how cold it makes the room however it is very squeaky and loud. I used WD40 which did not help. For my sanity I finally just had to buy a different fan

Nearly all of the fan components are made of thinner plastic, making it less durable than others. When it gets knocked over a couple of times the fan blades will break off. The motor itself works well, quietly moving a decent amount of air. Depending on your environment, they may do well for you at the price point they are being sold for.
