These tires are actually a surprisingly good replacement option for the rear of many jogging strollers. They are a bit oversized, but I don't feel any extra resistance when pushing the stroller, probably because the weight they add pales in comparison to the weight of our one year old and gear we lug around. Installation is super easy if you have ever replaced a bike tire. In fact it's easier than doing it on a bike. I recommend these to anyone who owns any type of kids bike or stroller that fits this size.

NOTE: the rubber used for this tire's tread is quite soft. While soft rubber gives great off-road traction, it will definitely wear down quickly with road use. I purchased 2 of these tires to replace the stock tires on my son's 16" REI Coop bike. The stock tires are excellent for road use, but we found that nearly all falls/crashes on trail rides were due to a lack of traction in the dirt & leaves. Install was typical, nothing extraordinary. Off-road traction was immediately improved. Again, it should be reiterated, this is an OFF-road tire, a tread life will be very short if used on roads.

A cheap and effective solution for re-treading self-propelled lawn mower wheels! The rubber tread wears fast on power-drive wheels, so you lose traction. Simply trim to the correct wheel circumference, remove the side-walls to leave just the tread, then glue and screw to the existing worn tires. (You only need to re-tread the two drive wheels!)

My son wanted to play on the local trails with me, but his street tires were holding him back (more like sliding him to the ground) on the dusty summer trails I have him some new shoes (these tires) and off he went - no holding him back Another plus is they are a tad slower on the road- something I appreciate for my speed demon 4 year old. Great bang for the buck- easy to mount to.

Purchased to replace the front tire on a Zoome3 trike. coupled with the larger/wider rear ties, it now goes through my uneven yard without spinning the front tires. much better traction, and being a touch smaller gives it a bit of an advantage gearing wise.
