No need to harvest and dry your own fresh herbs for tea now...
This tea is fantastic!...If you ever imagined the thought of growing and drying your own herbs for fresh tea, this is as close as you will come. My family have all come down with the usually pre winter crud and the cold relief blend really seems to help. We are enjoying the Winter Warmth now...Just smelling the aroma of this tea from the package is wonderful. It reminds me of an intense pumpkin spice. Try brewing the Refresh, sweetening it with raw cane sugar, and enjoying it iced! This tea is a high quality product. You can see the individual herbs and spices...It's almost like potpourri.Do not expect the serving sizes to come bagged. You will need to boil the tea lose as directed and then strain it. Its well worth the trouble! Oh, and a little goes a long way! Though this is only a 'sampler' the servings per container are very generous....It's very potent!A lot of the herbs in the Cold Relief blend are found wild here...when I taste it, I am reminded of cutting an overgrown field with my father's tractor, late on a cool early summer's evening. The spicey aromatic smells of nature in full swing...The nostalgic memories and ambiance all come together for me with this tea. It's very nice ! You will not experience this from a store brand....at least I've not.ENJOY!

I"ve been drinking the wrong tea!
I am not an every day tea drinker as I prefer coffee. If I do drink tea, I usually drink Earl grey or similar. I bough this sampler for my wife who tends to drink tea every night and likes to try various herbal teas. This looked different so it seemed like a good stocking stuffer. I also bought her a special kind of tea maker thing where she can steep the tea and easily drain the tea out without the leaves. With that said, my wife has not tried any of these teas yet. But I have and that is why I am writing a review.Shortly after Christmas, I started getting a head cold. My sinuses were blocked and killing me. My wife suggested I try the cold remedy tea. She used her new tea maker and gave me a cup. Right off the bat I could smell the oregano. I love oregano but this seemed a bit weird that I was going to drink it. I took a sip and was pleasantly surprised at how good it tasted without anything added to it. I decided to try a little bit of honey and I found myself chugging this back very quickly. My wife showed me the leftover tea leaves and you could actually see little flower petals in them. Not sure what they were but they were small yellow buds among a lot of other leaves. My point here is that you could see real ingredients and not some blended brown stuff that has gone through a ton of processing. As for my head, and the reason for the 5 stars, is that within 30 minutes of drinking the tea, my head began this ridiculous clearing where everything that was stuck up there decided to release itself. Honestly.....I was shocked. Way better than cold medicine! So I am looking forward to trying the other 3 teas and now I am thinking maybe I should be a bit more careful at picking teas since there is clearly a difference between mass produced and smaller batches like these.

A Sour Aftertaste To All Four Blends
While these may very be well made teas, I have to express my disappointment. I am an avid tea drinker and brew a variety of loose leaf teas--herbal and otherwise--throughout the week, and I found all four of these very distasteful to my palate to the point that I am unwilling to use more than the two teaspoons worth I used to brew a small pot of each tea. I honestly wish they weren't all opened so I could return them. The Lavender based one was the least distasteful, but all of them left a sour aftertaste on my tongue. Looking at the ingredients, I think perhaps it was too much of the lemon peel? The sour taste was most certainly very strong (as lemon generally is), and it was an ingredient all four had in common. It seems strange that ALL four teas had the same sourness to them. Either it was a like ingredient or another factor, as they were all brewed per the instructions: water brought to temperature in a kettle, poured into a porcelain teapot, allowed to steep for just over ten minutes, and drunk from a china cup. Many reviewers seem to love them, though, so I guess it's a taste that others enjoy. As I said, I cannot vouch for the quality of the teas in the sense of how they are made, but only to my taste buds, and I found them all to be something I am unwilling to drink. I would personally go elsewhere to be on the safe side.EDIT: Though it was originally shown as "not eligible for return," I showed Amazon the satisfaction guarantee listed in the item's description and they returned my money, telling me to go ahead and throw away the item. Thanks, Amazon!

Maybe I got a bad batch but really fell flat
Off colors (to the point I couldn't tell what was tea and what was herbal) and a lot of roughage in with the good stuff. Could just be a bad batch but I'll never know because I will not be trying again. Better brands out there with consistent control of herbs to tea ratio and quality control for which parts of the plant are being used.

This really helped, but I think they need to ...
This really helped, but I think they need to stress on the packaging that it could make you drowsy. I was very fog-headed all day (drank in the morning) and wanted to sleep. It helped relieve my head cold issues and also a strained back muscle pain. For me I will have to drink this at night.
