Perfect Fitting
I bought these because I needed to convert a BPS thread to NPT threads. It is hard to tell the difference in pitch of the threads and I have read quite a bit on the differences to realize they are different and may cause leaks due to the small differences in the pitch diameter of the threads. These worked perfect for my application on a BPS 1/2-in faucet I bought overseas for use with other US fittings in a place that I did not want any leaks. After a couple of months of being installed, no leaks and I don't expect any. These worked perfect for my application.

Needed for recirculating pump
The recirculating pump I bought on this site had BSP fittings (so annoying) so I needed something to convert it to NPT. This did the trick perfectly. Just be careful how tight you tighten down on the rubber gaskets with your fitting to make sure they get a good seal and use plenty of teflon tape/pipe dope.

Perfect fit
Very well made, perfectly machined parts. Build quality and fit is excellent. Whenever buying pay attention to the thread types because that's what messed me up with other adapters - NPT vs straight threads etc. Also be sure about your pipe diameters (garden hoses are typically 3/4").The big box stores didn't carry these, and out of all the online vendors this was the least expensive.So I'm quite happy with the purchase.

Fixed my leaking issue with uv sterilizer bought here.
Adapted uv threads to npt. Just don't over-tighten or the washer will slip out...

Right concept / wrong thread pitch
These look & feel sturdy & machined thick to handle psi... unfortunately, I returned these due to change of plans in my project design... thank you

Worked perfectly
I used this kit to adapt a recirculation pump with BSP fittings to my water heater system. They tightened up perfectly on both ends with no leaks.I saw with alarm that others had posted that these contain lead, for which I had not tested. I will be ordering a lead test kit to determine for myself, and I will edit this review if I find any. The lead test kits stated they can give false readings under certain conditions, so I will test them myself to verify.

Threads are right.
Haven't installed yet, but checked threads on both ends...G1/2 inch on female side and US 1/2 inch threads on the male side.
