My Hope: Songs Inspired By The Message And Mission Of Billy Graham

I really bought this for one song, Mercy Tree, sung by Lacey Sturm. I saw the official video of it on youtube and was excited it was on CD. I figured I would fall in love with more songs as I listened to it. Just got it and I went straight to track 11 to play Mercy Tree and was confused because it didn't sound like I remembered. Sure enough, the youtube video is more Acoustic sounding than the CD version which has a drum track overlaid on the WHOLE song and is as loud as the singer's voice! It sounds as if it was made into a march and the drums push the song, they do not fit it at all. I am extremely disappointed. Lacey's feelings really come through her voice and the youtube version really touched me. I am so distracted by the super loud drums on the CD version, I feel like they had an untrained ear mixing it and the outcome is tragic. If you are thinking of buying this for this song, know that it is different. Had I understood this before buying, I would not have.

I totally loved the CD and have been listening to it in my car for months. It did take me a while to connect with it, though, because many of the songs were unfamiliar. But now it's one of my favorites. My original reason for purchasing the CD was to preview it for possible use with my vocal ensemble or contemporary choir. However, because the praise leader solos are considerably difficult, decided that it wasn't suitable for that use. There is potential,however, to pull several of the songs out to use separately.

this album of all the artists will touch your heart with their words. Lacey Sturm is my fav and I even got the chance to meet her a couple months ago during the RESET Movement tour. She is truly an amazing person to talk to. Lacey's song "The Reason" made me cry my eyes out and gives me so many chills. but I also love other songs like Amy Grants and Matthew West's and Kari Jobe. Truly amazing talented artists.

I bought this for my granddaughter. The music is geared toward the younger person. She loves it. Don't let the cover take you off guard, there are a variety of music artists on this CD. Billy G. is an awesome Evangalist and really has had a heart for the youth of our nation, so it is no surprise the list of artists.

What can you say about Billy Graham's ministry . . . a truly awesome servant of God. It is fitting that these musicians honored what likely will he his last crusade with this collection of songs. They are powerful, inspirational, and a MUST HAVE for anyone who loves God and contemporary Christian music.

He has always been my favorite preacher, that God as blessed him with a long life, he still continues to spread the word about Christ and has never compromised his faith. This was a wonderful program and the music uplifting.

This is a great album if you don't like a lot of talking you would not appreciate this album but I do appreciate it and I like it

Bought it for Mercy Tree and found that this album exceeded my expectations in every way. The music is as simple, direct and unapologetic as Billy Graham himself. One of those albums where it is impossible to pick a favorite as they are all 'that good'.

What a wonderful CD filled with uplifting music of praise and worship. A Truly beautiful tribute to Billy Graham to be sure and his miniseries and of his love of his savior.
