Coolest Chun Li figure
This is probably the coolest Chun Li figure I've ever touched. I got this for my girlfriend as a birthday present a few years ago, and we still have it on our toy case today. The joints are a little loose, but its still holding up well. Glad I got it before the prices skyrocketed on. She can do every street fighter pose possible.

If you want Chun Li from (Super) Street Fighter IV then here she is!
As the title says, she looks just like she does in the Street Fighter IV games. She has great articulation, very durable, and comes with a pair of extra hands. She is also highly posable. I currently have my SFIV Chun Li standing in position to do her Ultra combo. I highly recommend this figure to anyone who loves Chun Li.

...you don't want to meet her in a dark alley!
I've never actually played STREET FIGHTER in any version, but find it morbidly fascinating to watch. I buy action figures as a collector and mostly to trigger ideas for my own fictional creations. That said, I tend to agree that this Chun-Li doesn't quite look like the Chun-Li in the game - she's too tall in comparison to, say, Ken (the action figure), for one thing, and she has such disproportionate thighs even for a kickboxer that she looks (to me) more cartoonish than the character in the game. Hypertrophy, thy name is Chun-Li.That said, you certainly don't want to meet this woman in a dark alley. She's well-articulated, easily poseable, armed to the teeth, perhaps has the most intimidating attitude on her face of any of the action figures I've seen in this series (maybe it's the otherwise delicate, pretty face that does it), and undoubtedly has a kick strong enough to crush an elephant's forehead. She may be more of a villainess here than the creators of the game intended - I always perceived her as a heroine, anyway - but she looks easily a match for any of her male opponents.

...that's Chun-Li?
NECA is usually a good toy company. While they make more of mini-statues than real action figures, their sculpts have put them up there with McFarlane (well, when they did more than sports and Halo), and I get excited each year seeing what new licenses they get to work with. When they announced that they'd be making Street Fighter 4 figures, and that they'd have a lot of articulation, I couldn't wait. But when I saw Chun-Li in-person, all hope was lost. Ryu and Ken looked bad enough from the previous series, but this is going too far. Medicom almost made the perfect Chun-Li figure, if it weren't for their usual poor quality control, but NECA screwed up even worse by giving us that thing you see in the stock picture. Yes, that's exactly how it looks in real life.First, the good. Like the other SF4 figures, Chun-Li has lots of articulation. You can get some great poses out of her, and the extra hands add to this. The paint is also fairly consistent with little bleeding. These figures are more for adult collectors, so it's good to see that they put some time into the paint like they do with the other lines. The sculpt on her legs looks great too, and I'm glad they made them beefy unlike the older Chun-Li figures that came out years ago.Now for the rest. Look at that face! She looks like she came off the set of Planet of the Apes or something! Supposedly, all the SF4 figures are 'scanned and sculpted from the 3D models in the game'. Maybe from a early demo, sure, but from the final game? I don't think so. Chun-Li looks nothing like that in SF4, and when you look at her body, it's clear this ain't a 'scan'. She's not that stubby, and her body type just screams Sir Mix-a-Lot. It's a shame they didn't spend more time on how she looked, which is the most important part of a figure. I can only imagine how Juri and Cammy will end up if NECA continues the line.If you don't mind getting a figure that looks like a bad cosplayer of Chun-Li, then by all means, get the figure. Otherwise, there's nothing good I can say about it aside from the articulation and paint. This just isn't her, and it's hard to believe the same guys who brought us those great Bioshock and Pirates of the Caribbean figures made...THIS.

Chun-Li Not as Nice but ery Good.
First off, let me start by saying I LOVE Chun-Li! She is my all-time favorite SF character. However this figure... is OKAY.Pros:GREAT articulationSomewhat nice paint jobMany extra handsRubber skirt for no-holds-barred posingCons:Sculpt isn't GREAT.MAN-HANDS!! O.OSome paint defects, mainly in her hair and on legsNo stand (She needs one to make some game-accurate poses)Final Thoughts: Not a bad figure. But could've been better. 4/5
