I will disclose that I am not experienced in making candles and using my own wicks, but I did read about the wick-size to candle-size ratio in the instructions. Even with this in mind, the wicks seem to burn really fast and unevenly. It is entirely possible that I am still burning a candle that is slightly too big to the the wick-size, but it's awfully close, which just means that you need to be very precise with your candle diameter to wick ratio. I also had an odd-shaped candle container (like a four-sided star) and I used multiple wicks in what I thought was proportion, but this didn't burn evenly either. These wicks did work as a temporary fix for some candles with the wrong size wicks, but they weren't perfect and did not extend the life of the candle to the very end. Maybe someone more experienced will have better results or maybe the wicks just burn fast and unevenly. Likely worth the try if you are ordering directly from Amazon and you are covered under their return policy.

They are actually the right size the right diameter round no problems except they did burn kind of fast I don't know that could be user error I'm not sure I think it's because I did not cut it after it burned a couple of hours I think that's what I was supposed to do cut it and then restart it and I didn't get a chance to do that but overall I'm having fun with my candle making to me it's like doing activities so that's good for me. I enjoy them thumbs up.

Good sturdy wicks. The are burning unevenly in my wide mouth quart jars, and the melt pool is larger than expected for this size wick. I am going to try them with a wider container to see if it works a bit better

These wicks were exactly what I was looking for a small votive. It had excellent flame, hot pool and didn't get suffocated with the fragrances I was using ...thanks !

I bought these wicks because my old wicks that I had been using are oversized for my new containers. These wicks do not burn evenly at all! My candles burned lopsided even though the wicks were centered in the middle. Also, the size of the wax pool was definitely smaller than 2 inches after burning for 2 hours! Only use these wicks if you are burning smaller than 2 inch (misleading in the description) or if you don't care about tunneling or proper wick burning.

I received large width candles instead of medium like it says

The wicks were well worth 11 cents each. They are high quality.With this one buy I will have enough wicks to make many candles.

These were perfect for my candle making projects and I will be ordering again.
