It does work!!! low ratings concerned me. But, I found that when applied with the right amount of pressure the tape seals and removes well. The right amount of pressure will be user determined. Too little pressure or pressure not applied on the entire adhesive strip will result in the tape not holding. When I used a credit card to "really get it to stick", I got some paint removal from the wall (not a big deal, touch up easy, didn't do that again). Using my thumb or finger worked fine. Just make sure you apply pressure across the entire adhesive trip. If you do that you will get a professional looking paint job.

The advantage and disadvantage is that the tape contains more adhesion that the paper tape I have used previously from Home Depot and Lowes. Nice clean edge.

painted walls on bedroom a number of years ago but did not paint ceiling at same time. purchased the easy mask to mask the walls. it did an amazing job. was easy to put up and easy to take off. so much easier than painters tape.

This is probably fine as long as you know it is not full width tape. it is 3/4 inch of tape on 3 inch paper.

I had some older rolls (as in years)of this product that I had bought locally from a big box store, which I used occasionally. When my last roll ran out I could no longer find it locally so I ordered them though Amazon. The arrived quickly, but the product is not worth anything. The adhesive will not stick to anything but the smoothest and cleanest surface, much unlike the older rolls I had. Don't bother buying this product unless you like throwing your money away.

Product is inferior to the original Easy Mask as it does not adhere firmly to the wall and allows some paint bleed through.

It's very easy to use, covers a good area, and you can take it up easily. I use it for marking lines on the floor also. I work with kids. It doesn't ruin anything.

I've used similar products in the past and like the concept. Unfortunately this product failed my expectations. Like others have experienced, I too had the product adhering to the wall upon removal. Some stated that pressure in applying the tape may the the key, It may also be what the substrate is like that you area applying it to (in my case it was 5 year old latex paint). But trying to remove the little bits of leftover tape and glue from the wall isn't what I was expecting. Part way through I tried using a hair dryer to soften the glue up before removal, and that did help me, but one shouldn't have to go that that extreme.I purchased four rolls of this product and I'll be return three. It's a pity because it did work in maintaining a clean edge without bleeding. It's just troublesome to remove.

Makes painting that much easier.

Do not buy this crap product. Used it to tape off some trim work in a bedroom. The paper separated like a cheap sticker so I am going to need to spend the next three days scraping this junk off the wall

Utter wastage of time n money. Doesnt even stick on flr 30 seconds. Comes right off. Do not buy this product
