The Trail of the Lonesome Pine

My persnickety mother in law who hates me because I have a female brain challenged me to find this book. Thank you Amazon for delivering less than 24 hours after I found it. (After two point five seconds of looking).

I gave this as a gift to my husband. He likes to read stories set in the Appalachian Mountains & southwest Virginia as that is where he grew up. He hasn't finished the book yet, but so far he says he would give it 4 stars!

I liked the book — like new

the book was ok, but when I ordered it, I thought it was for the seeing impaired "book1" of trail of the lonesome pine. Ordered it for my 97 year old mother who has vision problems . I had book two and wanted to get the first book too.

Theirs an outdoor drama in Virginia that does this play and I'm in it and I love this story so much...the play is called "Trail of Lonesome Pine Outdoor Drama" and it lasts 2 months in the summer...they have a website...look it up !!!!I played the part of the bully when I was in it and once again I love this story
