Seems well made, mounting hardware is for a flat gunnel, had to order concave mounts as I have a round gunnel. I really like this bimini, keeps me out of the sun. The mounts at the bottom of the metal frame are plastic, gonna have to be careful with that. You can see this bimini mounted on my boat on my you tube channel called Jack's Outdoor Life. Like the design so far. I can see that the plastic connectors could break over time, especially after some good time in the sun. I bought the metal ends, connectors and mounts. Planning on changing them before the 2nd season. But this holds up good moving and sitting. Ive had it to about 40 mph without worry about it. My wife loved it and wouldn't have been out with me ishing all day without it. It all seems to be put together well and I especially love the cover to help protect it. I would not trailer the boat with it up. It has a lot of movement at highway speeds and I take it down and strap to the boat for that. But it's a great overall investment for my fish and ski.

this is the second bimini top I ordered in a week from Amazon. I needed a 72" wide 36" tall top to mount on the factory mounts on my boat. first one I ordered (from another seller) advertised 67"-72" when arrived it measured 67 and didn't fit on my 72" boat. this one said 73"-84, logic would tell me since the other one ensured to the small side this one would also.....nope, measured 82". one would think that a manufacture advertises a range then the tubing would be adjustable to fit that range and not have to bend the tubing to make it work. I made it work, looks better then the one from the other seller and is taller then the oem top so I decided to keep it.

Well built. The fabric on mine is from a different manufacturer, but the quality is similar. Set up was faintly straight forward, though I'd recommend a helping hand to position it where you want it if you're installing, not replacing. Bent bow helps it lay flat when stowed, rear braces are sturdy. I bought the higher size(42") and can stand under this @ 5'11" haven't had it on the water with the top up, but feel comfortable with the idea of running with it up under power. For the money, you are getting plastic connections, but they appear to be good quality. If you desire, you can upgrade to stainless with this tubing. Great value for the money, even if the fabric only lasts a couple of seasons.

We got what we ordered. It was easy to assemble and install.The bimini seems sturdy though it on a sailboat. So it only has to cope with natural winds plus a few extra knots. It is not sturdy enough to be used as a handhold, unlike the much more expensive kinds.The fabric's color matches what the purchase selector displayed. The appears solid and opaque, though it is thinner compared to the much more expensive kinds of bimini covers.It looks like the much more expensive bimini covers. But it probably won't survive: strong storms, careless passengers, or being exposed to the sun all day every day.Bottom line: It is an attractive and functional bimini top that needs to be treated carefully. Very good value for the money at the time of this purchase.
