I purchased this preacher curl bench in particular because of the price. Due to the simple nature of preacher curl benches I just can’t justify paying over $100 for one. That being said, when you value shop sometimes you regret not going for the higher priced item. Not so in this case. While it may not have the thickest padding or thickness of steel as a more expensive bench, I am confident it will serve me well. The elbow pad has sufficient pad thickness and is not uncomfortable. Some reviews have stated that the pad needs to be wider. I don’t disagree that it would be nice if they were, and it might be necessary for a large framed person. My husband is 5'9" and broad in the shoulders. I am 5'4" and its perfect for me. For close grip curls there is no issue, but wide grip you are toward the edge. In my husband's case, it didn't affect his workout. Everything works as it should and feels sufficient and sturdy. It only took ten minutes to put together and I was good to go. For me this was a good value to suit my needs and I am pleased with my purchase. As long as you are realistic about what you can obtain for the price you will not be disappointed. I do recommend this bench and will keep my eye on this brand for future items.

Good piece of equipment for the price. I agree with the reviews, before I purchased this preacher curl bench, that the width of the arm pad is narrow. However, it still works for me for what I am trying to do. Easy to assemble in about 15 minutes.

Easy to put together, less than 10 minutes. Was chiped up when arrived, but it most likely will be chipoed up anyway. The multi tool is junk...will need your own wrenches to put together. I guess time will tell if it stands up to the weight.The arm/elbow rest is narrow.. don't like it after I used it for that reason . Otherwise it's good.

Exactly what we were looking for. This bench is better than the ones at LA Fitness. This is because it is so adjustable. At the gym, only the seat is adjustable, but with this, the arm pad AND the bar arms both adjust. So I at 5'2" and my son at 6'2" can both comfortably use this bench. Additionally, the footprint is a great size. It fits in any corner of the house and is quite light and very easy to move. Only thing we did was to put cork inside the part that the bar sits on to avoid chipping the paint off (see photos)

Assembly was easy. The tool provided was useless. You will need your own tools. Arrived damaged, the seat attachments were bent. Bent them back myself. Not worth the effort to return. Somewhat stable. I guess for the price it will do!

This is a great little bench especially for the price. Both my son and I use it, he is 6'1" and I'm 5'8" and there is plenty of adjustment to make it perfect for both of us. It took about 5 minutes to assemble. The only thing I added was some cups in the arms to keep my curl bar from shifting.

The arm curl pad is ONLY 16 INCHES! I neglected to read that dimension before I bought the bench. That's my fault, but don't make it yours! Tape out your elbows and then add at least 4 more inches for movement when doing a heavier weight when both arms are going to be on the pad. My arms fell off the pads and ruined the exercise. Don't let the price suck you into buying an inferior product. The bench is extremely wobbly and unstable. The seat pad is tiny but I would normally suck that up because im looking for a small footprint, but you manuver into the unstable small POS and then the pads aren't big enough for your elbows. It's a complete waste of money and time putting it together. I am not going to recommend this to anyone ever.

The arm rest could be a bit wider; but the bench is functional. If it's redesigned, the bar rest distance from the arm pad should be made to be adjustable. All in all it performs its function.
