Get what you pay for
It works decently and is relatively lightweight. The value is satisfactory for the price paid, with the battery still holding up well. I use it to scan for metal products in discarded items at work without any problems when it gets wet. However, it could improve in detecting accuracy.

I use it for my club Thurs - Sun. Maybe a total of 800-1000 scans per weekend. Battery lasts a long time and picks up metal well.

Good little unit
Used during a move to locate items lost in boxes full of packing paper. It worked really well, narrowed the search down to a single box, so I didn't have to unpack and search 17 boxes of paper.
