Excellent value for housewrap
My first attempt at using a radiant barrier. Installed easily enough. Doesn't come with any instructions (that I can recall). Do a little research yourself for best method of installing and where to leave gaps/breaks in the barrier coverage for better airflow. I was surprised at how much 1000 sq ft covers in the attic. I thought I was only going to be able to cover half the attic but due to my vaulted ceilings in 2 rooms, I had better coverage than I expected. A direct IR reading from a corrugated metal patio cover to the barrier insulated portion showed a 30degree F difference. The attic is still being worked on but so far I don't see a significant drop. Possibly heat coming from the non-covered areas? Maybe. For now, the area where the thermometer is, has the radiant barrier and my attic temps are still hitting 120-130 F in Los Angeles County (CA). Barrier was stapled directly to the roof between the rafters, focusing on the southern facing part of the roof and now wrapping up the northern side. I have about 60% of the attic covered so far. I will update when I'm done with the attic and when summer temperatures really test the effectiveness of the material. But so far, I'd recommend this product to others.

Using as a house wrap under James Hardie (fiber cement) siding
My house was already insulated, house wrapped, and sided with plywood. I decided to re-side the house in cement fiber lap siding. I chose the EcoFoil as a wrap between the old wood siding and the new cement fiber siding based on research I did in advance. I was looking for something that would help with some of the heat gain as we live in an area with very intense solar heat gain in the summer.I have now had the wrap and siding for over a year and I am very pleased with the performance. The house seems substantially cooler in the summer, needing much less AC. And in the winter we also noticed a significant difference in heat loss and less of a drafty feel.I am very happy with my purchase. I have a little more re-siding to do and will definitely buy more of the EcoFoil.

Radiant barrier, tough stuff
Works just like it is supposed to. Don't waste cash on the bubble stuff. This is what you want, a tough heave film that wont tear. If you live in hot sunny climates install this, it makes a huge difference in attic temps. Take the money you save from not getting the bubble stuff and spend it on extra insulation to blow in the attic. Much better return on the cash.

Tactical Keychains Approves!
Radiant is the keyword here, works great for electric heat, but when using gas heat I can't feel anything.

Satisfied, but too soon to tell how the utility bills will be affected
Product met expectations, except for one thing. Expected to receive 8 rolls, but received 4 double the size indicated on the description. Worked ok for what I needed.
