7" Children's music violin (toys for kid's pretend play)

If my grandson wasn't so excitied about receiving a violin for Christmas, I'd send back. Violins sound bad enough but this one makes your ears bleed. Not sure how long he'll play with it (and hope it doesn't change his mind on wanting to learn to play a real one!).
