I had tried a borrowed Furminator brand tool on our Lab before deciding to purchase one. Of course the price of the original brand was startling, so I was thrilled to find alternatives at less than half the price. This tool is identical to the name brand! I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. Brushes just don't remove the Lab undercoat like this deshedder does -- even when I know there is loose hair and the brush comes up with very little, this thing will remove a handful or two of hair from his undercoat. And with Prime 2-day shipping, it even arrived early the very next day.
